We searched and evaluated many refrigerators before purchasing the Samsung. It met our size criteria and desired features (french doors, freezer drawer, good looks). The interior led lighting is superior and clearly highlights everything inside. It is very quiet and looks good in stainless steel. The ice and water dispensers work very well are easy to use and makes sufficient ice for our needs. Would buy a Samsung again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JimC Just what the Doctor Ordered
This refrigerator was purchased for our tiny condo kitchen. With only a 2" side strip of filler wood between the opening and a wall,we were concerned that the french doors wouldn't open up enough to allow us to fully open the interior storage drawers. After much testing using the stores display model, we ordered and had it installed. Our left door only opens 90 degrees and we are able to enjoy full access to all drawers:-) We were also instructed by customer service that we could decline delivery if the refrigerator fit didn't give us full access to all drawers. It's now a showcase to our kitchen

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Anna I bought this refrigerator 3 years ago. Thank God I got an extended warranty through Home Depot because it stopped cooling and the whole control board has to be replaced. My parents' refrigerator is 20 years old and has yet to break, so Samsung clearly makes a terrible product if it breaks within 3 years.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DJS Worst refrigerator I have ever owned
This refrigerator is hands down the poorest quality unit I've ever owned. We've had ours 2 years now. The compressor is loud, the ice dispenser continually drips, and the hardware is flimsy. Drawers do not operate properly and have been replaced once already under warranty.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RP Good Refrigerator - Horrible Customer Service
DON'T BUY FROM SAMSUNG. The unit itself is good. The biggest problem is with Samsung Customer Service. They only know how to say "please press the reset button." For anything else they transfer you to another agent who says, "Please press the reset button." Waited 3 weeks for service and then was told your unit doesn't have that feature. "We are sorry Samsung told you that you purchased that feature and we are also sorry we sent a technician to fix your unit, but we can't fix it so just live with it."
Like I said, unit is good, but I would give it all back so I never had to deal with Samsung again. I must live with my mistake.

Please do yourself a favor and Google Repairs for Samsung Refridgerator. We have owned this model for about a year and a had loved it until the ice maker kept leaking into the small well that you constantly have to wipe with a towel almost every time you get ice. The ice maker just died today less than two years in and I posted on my FB page and got responses back saying how bad they are. I bought mine based on the great rankings/reviews here on Home Depot's web site and have no idea how it gets great rankings unless most are from people owning it for less than a few months. I now have to spend $500 to replace the entire ice maker as the design does not allow it to be fixed.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ward93311 DO NOT BUY UNLES YOU ENJOY SPOILED FOOD
Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator/freezer unless you enjoy spoiled food and melted ice cream. We purchased this model Samsung 2 years ago, and from the beginning the refrigerator temperature has risen to 49 degrees a minimum of 3 times a day. This includes overnight, when no one has opened the refrigerator. We set the desired temperature at 34 degrees, but it ignores the setting. The 49 degree temperature causes the ice in the icemaker to melt and drip down the dispenser constantly, and the ice refreezes into a big lump. It takes about 1 hour or the temperature to complete the rise to 49 degrees, and another hour for it to come back to normal- therefore being FAR out of the desired range for 2 hours, 3 times a day. The temperature in the freezer does the same thing. The temperature rises to plus-19 degrees instead of the preset minus-8 degrees. Ice cream goes oft, milk spoils, nothing is cold. Even if we activate the "Power Cool" feature, it has no effect on stopping the rise in temperature. Samsung/Home Depot warranty repairman claims "all frost-free refrigerators do this" and refuses to make any type of repair or adjustment!! We have a 10 year old GE refrigerator/freezer in our garage where temperatures rise to 100 degrees, yet the GE holds a constant 34 degrees in the refrigerator and minus-14 in the freezer, summer and winter. We will NEVER buy a Samsung product again, or buy an appliance from Home Depot since they do not back up the warranty (or even the Home Depot extended warranty we purchased).

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mad Samsung service horrible
Refrigerator delivered last Thursday. Minor defect with adjustable shelf. My wife called Samsung within 48 hours--per directions--and after a very long time on the phone got promise of a replacement shelf in 2 weeks. Today we got a call from a barely intelligible person asking if we had sent proof of purchase. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold for quite a while and then put in in new call queue. This is totally unsatisfactory for a major purchase. I am sorry we went with Samsung; they clearly have miserable product support.
