After a lot of research on fridge sizes to fit in our space, we ordered this Samsung w/o having seen it in person. So far, just a couple weeks we love it. HD delivery guys were excellent too

We purchased this fridge at a hefty discount on black friday. Long story short, the fridge intermittently failed to dispense water or fill ice maker, Samsung was unable to repair it after 4 visits. They then deemed it irreparable. Since Home Depot is not one of their 'partners', Samsung would only refund purchase price, which now in March will not buy a comparable replacement. Also, after suggesting the issue was with my plumbing, and my spending extra out of pocket expense to make upgrades that proved to not be the problem, Samsung offered no additional compensation or even an apology for my inconvenience.

Refrigerator stopped working within one week of delivery. Took two weeks to have someone come out and fix it. Nothing like having a $2,800 lemon!! Within a year, the bottom drawer broke. We were able to get it working again but it falls off of the track constantly. The make of the fridge is cheap and flimsy. I should have gone with the LG that I had my eye on originally. The customer service is NOT friendly and the time frame for service is long. I will NOT be buying another Samsung appliance. To top it all off, Samsung moved the delivery date of my fridge and it pushed back the delivery of my other appliances I had purchased at the same time. They told me they would compensate me with a gift card that was never received. When I called to ask about it, no one had ever heard of me getting one.

The fridge is bigger than our old one but has a lot of cool features that you can read about here and all over the Internet. This 33W size was a exactly what we needed and for the price that HD offered, it seemed like a great idea.
The display is super easy to understand. Basically hold a button in to make changes. Super easy.
The unit seems to be super efficient as well or our old one was very inefficient. Probably the latter. The freezer is darn cold at the recommended 2 degree temp. Thought about raising it but the benchmark is melting ice cream. It melts at 4 degrees. :)
Extraneous plastic over the handles and other parts that are pieced together. Seems like we're peeling plastic out of the nook and crannies. All in all, its there for a reason to protect the product but hard to remove. Kind of like the hard plastic packaging that is everywhere now a days.
The middle door and compartment separator. In theory it seems like a good idea but appears to be moving around a bit amongst our yogurt, lunch meat and a few odds and ends. Maybe make it so it can be locked. And I wish it opened about 4 inches more so that I could get the non essentials that seem to have found there way to the back of the middle door. ;(
The front of the fridge is NOT finger print resistant which is what I was looking for. I guess I didn't research that feature enough but I'm compulsive enough to look it over every day. USE the handles!
We loved the idea of this type of fridge. And HD did an excellent job with their part of the purchase. NOW the bad part. We are now on our 3rd fridge. 1st one had scratch on the doors and the delivery guys called in a new one right on the spot. A week later, our 2nd fridge shows up. Delivery went fine this time. BUT the water dispenser seemed to drip and for a while all be it a drip. Called Samsung. Repeated calls into the Service Desk. Seemed like they were keeping notes of our conversation on note pad. Not a very smooth operation. Lack of effort in coordination on Samsung's part resulted in a 3rd fridge being ordered and just delivered.
Getting used to my new fridge with lots of features but fear of any service work that might need to be done in the future. Our previous fridge was a Whirlpool that we had for 17 years. No service ever needed.

We have only had this refrigerator for a month, but I love it. Besides being a super good looking refrigerator, I love how it is laid out. At first I was concerned it would be small, but there seems to be plenty of room inside. I love - LOVE - the drawer which is basically an extension of the refirgerator and it is amazing how much you can get in there. Everyone who has seen this, remarks about how nice it is. The black stainless is very attractive - I don't have to wipe off many smudges at all. It is like a dark charcoal in color. The ice maker keeps up with us which is one of the key reasons we chose this refrigerator - we are big ice users and have had plenty. This is the second Samsung refrigerator we have owned, so they must be doing something right!
