Have owned this washer for a year now and I hate it. It doesn't get the clothes clean! Can't even rinse all the soap out. I've called and had Samsung come out, but there's nothing they can do because the machine works. Actually getting the clothes clean-not their problem. I now use the heavy duty cycle for all loads with the soil setting on high soil (the highest setting) and pre-treat everything. It takes an hour and 45 min. per load, and still can't get the simplest spot off tee-shirts that have been pre-treated! I purchased a front loader for the water savings-but what good is it if I have to wash everything twice? Seriously considering going back to a top loader. The machine I replaced (an old Amana) did a better job.

I purchased this machine about a month and a half ago. We do approximately 9 loads of wash a week. This unit is much quieter with much less vibration than our previous front loader. It is located on the second floor of our home and you never know its running unless you have an "unbalanced" load, and even then you may hear a little vibration when it is spinning up to speed or slowing down. The washer does not walk at all. If your are looking for quiet, this is the machine you want. As far as cleaning, we just use the normal cycle and our clothes come out clean. The spin cycle dries the clothes so there is less drying to be done by the dryer, similar to the previous front loader.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stephen Love the washer, hate the washer casing.
Handles huge loads, low water usage, very quiet. The top, and sides are cheap plastic, not porcelain or steel. Don't spill detergent or softener on this, or it will *permanently* stain. We keep our detergent above the washer, and had a couple of drips that hit the washer. This was never an issue with our Maytag Neptune, just wiped it up once we saw it. Not so with this. It stains the plastic, so we have blue spots on top of this after a couple of weeks. Tried every cleaner imaginable, but it permeates the plastic.

I purchased this washer replace an four year old Maytag that has been a problem since day oneone. It has loads of features (most of which I'll never use). But what it does very well is wash clothes. It uses less water and the clothes come out fluffier and cleaner. Enough said.

One year And three weeks (((Boom))) E8 code bad MEMS sensor. Corrective Action: call customer no service. Was told I was out of warranty by three weeks after giving me an appointment for the repair. So I had to call The Home Depot's protection plan I purchased with the washer and dryer. Two weeks gone by took off work the non-authorized service was a no show. going on three weeks now.

Received my new washer last Thursday and it didn't work. The washer shakes and makes a lot of noise whenever the spin cycle is running and it walks across the floor. I purchased the dryer as well and had them stacked. I am amazed that it can move so easily since I cannot slide it back to where it was due to the weight of both machines. A brand new washer should not need to be serviced!

If this washer breaks down, it's going to be replaced. Samsung has no parts to repair it. Cost me hundreds to replace.
Home depot protection plan only covers the unite. So if they stop making that model you stuck.

just bought a new house and had to replace my washer/ dryer. My realtor told me this model was terrific but I find some of the clothes are not as dry as he promised. I'm still working at the proper settings (of which there are many).
