I've owned this machine for about a month now. I had to replace my front loader, which I had been happy with, until it started leaking. The salesman at the store talked me into this top loader. I've been extremely disappointed in how it cleans my clothes. With no agitator in the middle, I can see watching through the lid that the clothes on the top, never really make in down under the water to get clean. I only fill the tub about half full, so I know that's not the issue. I just pulled my grey fleece out and it still has the soot from our wood stove on the elbow. That should have washed out easily! Very disappointing when you spend that much money!

After two years water came pouring out of the bottom. Had 3 year extended warranty. Home Depot claimed repair person was coming out on a Wednesday. Called the repair shop they did not have us on the schedule and said home depot did call them and only asked if they had service appointments available, then hung up. They also did not repair Samsung machines because, "impossible to find parts". Second repair place they claim to make us an appointment with a week later never returned my phone calls. Finally found a repair person on my own. Will never purchase Samsumg products or from Home Depot again.

At 69 years of age I have owned many washers and this one is the WORST I have ever owned. Every time it tries to spin it's off balance. I open door and move wash around to re-balance load. Then the machine refills with water agitates for a few minutes drains and ruins what I have moved , then tries to spin and tells me it is Off balance again. It does this for hours and hours. Why won't it SPIN ONLY WHEN SENT TO "SPIN". You have a RINSE AND SPIN setting why does SPIN do the same thins???? I cant even just dry something without it going through all these wash cycles. I would like to take a sledge hammer to it. I WANT MY MONEY BACK THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK !!!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by FrustratedLaundress Washer That Doesn't Wash
What's the point of the heavy price tag and bells & whistles if it doesn't clean your clothes?? I think I use more water and electricity now with this "energy efficient" and "water saving" washer because I either have to run a load a second time or scrub everything by hand first in my bathtub before running a load in the machine. Someone please explain to me how a piece of clothing that stays on top of the pile of clothes in the machine is supposed to get clean. It's not getting clean just because it got soaked with water at the beginning of the cycle. If there's one major purchase in my life that I regret, it's buying this washer.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DisgruntledBigtime Does Not Get Clothes Clean
This washer has many great features and attributes. Unfortunately, the bottom line, which is to get clothes clean, is a total failure. We have read the manual, tried all the settings and can not find any way to get things clean! The basic flaw is the design, common to all the new top-loaders - no agitator. Without an agitator, the clothes waft gently around on the bottom of the tub in very little water (government requirement) and do not get truly washed.
In all fairness, this washer is probably no worse than any other of this design. However, due to lack of performance, we will be selling the set and searching for one of the older models with a true agitator so our clothes will get clean.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kay312 Bells & whistles, but does it work?
My main concern is that it doesn't fill over the top of the clothes. I've taken things out after washing that felt completely dry, and there's no way the spin cycle is that good. I paused it once the wash cycle started, and saw that all of the clothes were not completely submerged. How then can I count on my clothes being clean? There's no middle rotator to make sure all of the clothes are pulled under. If this were not a problem, I would say it was great. This, however, is a huge problem for me. The one time I splurge on an appliance, I feel like it's a mistake and big waste of money, water, and electricity. I thought it was going to be energy efficient, but not at the expense of coming out with unclean clothes.
Unfortunately, it's too late for a return & refund.

I love been able to wash a larger load. It's quite. I love it not having a agitater.
