The drum light in dryer goes on when door is opened and power is off but not for the washer??? Also does anyone get water left over in detergent dispenser??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Samsung Washer Problem The washer has a good array of neat features. Problem is we had issues with it from the first date it was installed. The door would pop open in the middle of a wash and the door within a door feature didn't work properly. When we contacted Samsung they told us they wouldn't replace the washer since we didn't call within 48 hours. The washer is less then two weeks old and we are still battling with Samsung on this... stay far away from this or any other Samsung washer...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good washer - large, fast, cleans well This machine was expensive, but very spacious, and cleans clothes well. We just gave up on a 5-year-old LG that broke down too many times. More features and settings than we understand, but basic settings are fast and easy to set. The app is weak. Not sure what purpose it serves really. it seems gratuitous and actual users most likely didn't help develop the app. You would think a company this size would have a purposeful and desirable app. However, with the network adapter and IFTTT website, we are able to set it so that we are notified when washer finishes or is about to fix. This can be text message or blink lights or almost anything. We have rarely have used the little door for loading additional clothes, but seems convenient. I do not like the black door. Very hard to see if anything is inside or what it is. The black looks weird on white - maybe it looks nice on other colors?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the new washing machine The Samsung washer looked much more complicated than my old machine, but is actually incredibly easy to use. I love that I can see the time on each cycle. The capacity is HUGE. I can fit in a queen sized comforter easily. There are multiple washing options for any type of load. I was a little disappointed that the Samsung smart adapter is not included and is a separate purchase. I have one on order now, so i can't yet rate the smart phone app, although i love the idea of having a reminder that the load has finished. The machine is incredibly quiet. I marked them down a little on value because it was quite expensive. The slightly smaller capacity version seemed a much better value for the money, but I really wanted the extra capacity to wash bedding. We've only had it two weeks, but so far I love it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy this washer it leaks. The small door that opens up is leaking. It just started leaking and leaks enough to create a mess on the floor. It leaks during a load of laundry being washed. My old Samsung Front Load washer was great it was just too small and I needed a larger washer. I had no problems with my old Samsung washer and dryer. I have heard how bad Samsung warranty is, so I am not looking forward to the phone call to get this repaired. I should have bought a Whirlpool washer instead.

It can wash a sweater, or a mountainous down comforter. I recommend the pedestal, as it's really deep to reach in and get the last little thing out. I've been using it every day for 2 weeks, I may already be due for the self cleaning cycle you do after 40 loads. I'm thinking that will be a great feature. It cleans great, as I expected, is easier to understand and program than I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic washer!!! The washer is very versatile for quick washes or for very heavy and soiled loads. The steam and extra hot washes are perfect for getting hard stains out. Be aware that the heated washes can take a long time but it's worth it when you need it. It's also the quitest washer I owned.
