Product Overview

The Samsung 30 in. 5.9 cu. ft. Freestanding Induction Range four full induction burners that uses magnetism to heat cookware directly so the cook top stays cooler than gas or radiant electric cook tops. It also uses heat more efficiently - since heat is focused on the cookware, consumers can cook and boil faster and also simmer with more precision. NE595N0 also features Samsung’s Boil Alert, which detects vibration from hot liquids and automatically reduces heat to a preset level, thus reducing boil-over accidents. The sensors detect the boiling points of liquids beyond water - including soups, oils and milk - and beeps to alert consumers. The large capacity true convection oven uses a heating element and fan to circulate air, providing consistent oven temperatures for uniform browning, even baking and up to 30% faster roasting. The SteamClean option allows you to spot-clean the oven floor in just 20 minutes, but also has a self-cleaning for the deeper clean. The Hidden Bake element creates a smooth oven floor so spills are easy to clean.

  • Spacious 5.9 cu. ft. easily accommodates a big roast, multiple casserole dishes or several racks of cookies
  • 4 full induction elements includes 11 in., 9 in. and two 7 in. elements, that give you the flexibility to cook with different-sized pans and boils water quickly saving cooking time

Thanks for the question, BigDaddy. Samsung Ranges, including the NE595N0PBSR, do come with anti-tip brackets which should be installed as part of the recommended installation process. Instructions can be found in the Installation Guide.

The stove would be in an island with no hood. My existing stove with no hood can cause the smoke alarms to buzz.

Answer:
Thanks for your question. The NE595N0PBSR is not equipped with a downdraft vent, so would require an external vent such as a range hood or Over the Range Microwave to remove any smoke, steam or odors from the cook top.

Answer:
No, I have bought stoves in the past, and they always sell a new cord separately. Go figure! The cord doesn't move, and I don't understand why you can't reuse the old cord.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just OK This purchase was for my Absolute Black granite counters new kitchen....Looks great but is not functional. I find myself waiting a lot in food preparation as it does not have enough power to cook a three or four course meal timely and the holidays forget it!. It's very frustrating. I've owned this range since summer 2014 and can truly say the convection oven is probably it's only saving grace, as I use it often. And by the way, the letters S-A-M-S-U-N-G came off. May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by junk and WORST SERVICE X2 When this was delivered the light in the oven fell out and through my breaker Samsung did not make it good an neither did home depot August 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke 4 times in two years ! Induction is safe and efficient, when working properly, NOT IN MY SITUATION! The two ranges were replaced within two years. Now an error code of E-84 ! Looked online, and the display is fried! Unplugged unit, waited a half hour , same code! SAMSUNG stands for "Same Annoying Malfunction Stove Unit No Good" ! June 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Samsung Induction Range It is a wonderful range. It heats faster than gas, and cools off as fast. The pans don't exhibit hot or cold spots, since the entire pan bottom heats due to the electromagnetic field set up by the range top. Water boils faster than ordinary electric and even gas. This is the perfect alternative to a gas range. It also is more efficient than ordinary electric or gas. The convection oven cooks quickly and evenly. I couldn't be happier. January 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase overall Beware that pots and pans CANNOT be less than 4.5" in diameter, no exceptions, and most "small" saucepans will not work. Stove top is very easy to clean, works well (fast heating, super fast cooling) and easy to use. Oven heats very fast (do not preheat it when you're only starting to orepare a cake, for instance, or you will waster energy and money). Oven door gets hot, on the negative side, racks and oven get dirty very fast and it often smells like burned food, so,any little spill must be cleaned right away mself cleaning function works well, except on the door and at the bottom of oven near the door. Cannot get it clean, even by hand. Great look in the ktchen, have had compliments on it. Overall good purchase, but I preferred the Samsung I had in Europe, by far. October 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great range for 2 years We have been trying to get this range repaired since the 1st of February. NINE service calls later we have a 200 + pound boat anchor in our kitchen. NOBODY will listen to me. I have used this range everyday for 2 years!! The R/F DOES NOT COOK LIKE IT DID WHEN NEW! MD Appliance changed out the R/R induction unit. The SAME PROBLEM continued. The R/R hot light came on after I used only the R/F unit. Two and a half weeks later ,MD Appliance replaced all the control boards and tested them to make sure they were working, but never stayed to see IF the R/R hot light would come on. I asked the service man what I should do when the R/R hot light came on again. He said: CALL SAMSUNG, I AM NOT FIXING YOUR RANGE! I was then told by MD that this was a safety feature. I asked why did it TAKE 2 YEARS to start working?!! Next The Home Depot Care Center read to me the owners manual on how the hot burner lights work. Yup, they work that way, BUT the R/R light comes on when you only use the R/F unit. It stays on anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. On March 30th, A&E Factory Service came out to repair our range .They got here so late in the day that Samsung Tech Support was closed. So they left. When A&E came out again, they contacted Samsung Support for repair advice . They said we needed more insulation between the oven and the inverter unit. The following week, insulation was installed and we STILL had the same problem. The RR hot light came on without using that burner. Samsung then authorized the replacement of the inverter board. Once that was installed, the new inverter board worked fine. The RR hot light did not come on when using the right front burner. The very next day, we started to cook dinner for out of town company. After 5 minutes of cooking, the range shut down, and tripped the circuit breaker. At that time, I read the manual to clear the E84 error code. That did not work. Range is still dead. We went out to eat AGAIN. The A&E tech came out and he ordered another-the second- inverter PCB from Samsung. The range is dead. If I had $1500, I would go to Best Buy and buy a brand new Frigidaire Induction Range. April 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic induction range until broke...Worst Customer service Despite having great features & affordable price, we were initially hesitant in buying a Samsung induction range based on many negative reviews due to its poor reliability. We've decided to give it try hoping that these E-85 code problems were due to the initial product launch glitches, and the Samsung must have addressed them after a couple of year in production. Long story short, we loved the new range & the convection oven, and they worked flawlessly for 10 months. Then we heard this loud pop noise, blew 60 Amp dedicated circuit breaker, and got this E-85 error code. We've tried to get it repaired under the warranty, but the Samsung tech service was impossible to deal with - on the phone for 3 hours, waiting for service tech, service tech was clueless on induction system, another 3 hours on the phone w/ Samsung, no tech assistance from Samsung... no offer to exchange.. .another 3 hours on the phone... Wow.... and it's been 6 weeks with no working range/oven!! Yes, I was an idiot for taking the chance...never never again buy a Samsung appliance. We're buying a GE profile unit w/ an extended warranty and hoping for a better experience.... March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth lines and operation This was the first time I purchased an Induction cooktop. I was very happy to find out that most of my existing pans worked on it. The convection Oven I had already had and knew I had to have that feature in the range purchase. My favorite feature on the cooktop is the sensors that detect if a pan is there or not. and if the pan is not returned in a set time frame the element turns off. The only draw back I have seen is the vents in the front of the oven do not have a lip or catch grove inside in case anything accidently gets in there. You have to tear the oven door apart to clean the three panels of glass. Maybe on future models. This would be a good Idea. April 22, 2013
