The Samsung 30 in. 5.9 cu. ft. Freestanding Induction Range with Flex CookZone features a flexible cooking surface to suit any-sized pan or cookware that would not otherwise fit on a standard stove configuration. Consumers can use the large 10 in. x17 in. Flex CookZone area as a full-length bridge element or as two separate induction elements, based on the size of their cookware. The range also features Samsung’s Boil Alert, which detects vibration from hot liquids and automatically reduces heat to a preset level, thus reducing boil-over accidents. The sensors detect the boiling points of liquids beyond water - including soups, oils, and milk - and beeps to alert consumers. The large capacity true convection oven uses a heating element and fan to circulate air, providing consistent oven temperatures for uniform browning, even baking and up to 30% faster roasting. The SteamClean option allows you to spot-clean the oven floor in just 20 minutes, but also has a self-cleaning for the deeper clean. The Hidden Bake element creates a smooth oven floor so spills are easy to clean, and the warming drawer keeps food at the perfect temperature until dinner is ready.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not easy The induction top does not work well at all. We have 2 portable induction cooktops that we have used for the past couple of years with no problem, so decided to buy this induction range. We have to move the pans around for sometimes up to 5 minutes before the stovetop picks up the pans and starts heating. Been working with this trying to see if there's a "trick" to this, with no luck. Then, the "straw that broke the camel's back". Night of July 3rd, put a pot of water on to boil to start cooking for the 4th of July. After about 5 minutes of moving the pan around, the burner turned on. Tended to something else, turned back to the stove & it was completely off. Flipped the circuit breaker, still nothing. Followed the trouble shooting instructions, still nothing. Now 5 days with no stove or oven. Told that a part had to be ordered. Then will have to wait for a repair person to come sometime during this very busy time to interrupt our summer plans. All for a brand new range that should work flawlessly, without having to "jimmy around" to get it to work. By the way, went back to the portable induction cooktops, which work with no problem, so the problem is not my pans. July 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cooktop not well thought out I'm a little disappointed with this induction range. I had hoped with the good rating their next higher level model had from a leading consumer review site, that this would be a good choice. I went to eight different appliance dealers in the Los Angeles area and none of them had one in stock to look at. When the induction works, it is one of the best cooking experiences I've ever had. My biggest issue is that I can't really use any induction-ready pan with a base smaller than 6 inches in diameter. I even bought a highly rated stainless steel hob and it causes the cooktop to overheat faster than it works to heat up my smaller pans. The placement of the smaller induction burner in the back, immediately in front of the controls means I risk burns trying to make changes when I'm using my bamboo steamer on top of a stainless steel pan. I was surprised that it works well with a couple of my cheaper frying pans. However, I was disappointed that my trusty cast iron griddle/grill pan won't work with both FlexCook burners. I purchased this model especially because of the FlexCook option. I also wish I'd been able to see the back of the range before I purchased it. We paid an electrician to install the proper connection, but it's sticking so far out that the range is pushed three inches out from the wall. If I'd been able to see the back, I would've known to have them install it much lower. Despite the cooktop, the oven is wonderful. It heats up quickly and so far everything I've baked has turned out great. I do not recommend this model. March 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lives up to reputation Since starting our kitchen renovation we have been purchasing Samsung products, including our 5.9 cu. ft. Freestanding Full Induction with True Convection oven. While we did initially experience an error message (and three repair attempts) we have since found the range to be the best range we have ever owned! It will boil liquids (water, soup, etc.) in amazing time while the oven cooks foods much faster than conventional ovens could ever dream of. September 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by More then I expected. I love the induction oven feature where I can roast a whole chicken to perfection. The warming oven has been very handy to hold back dishes while others are finishing. The glass top is beautiful and easy to clean. No more cleaning under burners for spill overs. No more burner pans to replace. Cleaning oven quick and easy. I love everything about my new range. May 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great engery saveings induction cooktop cooks fast with little heating of surrounding air, cooler kitchen, less a/c needed, costing less in engery use. convection oven cooks in 1/4 of time needed, controls are easy to reace and understand. May 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best Valued Induction Available Works Perfectly, Reliable Samsung Name; really happy with purchase. May 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good I had a NuWave Induction cooktop, and liked it, so I decided to replace my electric stove/oven with this Samsung product. I have several new books on convection cooking, and I have just started. There is a learning curve in the transition from the former to the latter, but it is very intuitive and not difficult. The first beef rib roast and accompanying vegetables came out of the new oven today and was absolutely sublime. The meat was succulent and moist, and the vegetables looked like they had come directly off of the outside grill. December 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't buy.... Unless you have hours to spend daily on the phone with customer 'service' We both the stove because it had a lot of features for a good price,,, however we now regret that decision immensely. All of our pots are induction compatible. Yet, only one pot we own works on all of the size appropriate burners. The pots keep generating a pan detection error and even when they work... they they stop work midway through cooking the meal allowing everything to go cold. Samsung doesn't care. They just keep saying that the problem is our pots... We finally were able to exchange the stove for Electrolux after making enough noise where we bought the stove. All of our pots are working fine now. Don't let Samsung into your kitchen....Poor quality, poor service! April 23, 2014
