Great dryer, works perfect. I have no complaints to offer. It's sleek, large and dries clothes perfectly the first time.

I truly like this dryer. It is sharp looking. It has a large capacity so I can dry a big quilt. It has all the bells and whistles.

I bought this dryer as it was the match to the washer I had researched. I now know I should have researched the dryer as quality is more important than a matching set. The dryer seemed fine for about five loads. Then it just stopped working. I had power but the thing would not spin or heat. I called Home Depot but it was more than 48 hours after delivery so they referred me to manufacturer who eventually sent out a local appliance repair person. He replaced belt and another part saying they were either grossly defective or used. I was disappointed that Home Depot would not let me return or replace this three week old defective dryer and disappointed the manufacturer would only repair, not replace. Appliance repair person said he thought the dryer must have been used or had used parts, even suggesting it could have been a floor model or one that was returned and reboxed as new. Cannot say if other dryers of this model are bad, but mine was. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else breaks as I did not purchase the additional warranty and its too late to get it now. I will not be buying from Home Depot again as they did not stand behind the product sold. Had it been Sears, I could have returned or exchanged it. I will not buy from this manufacturer again as the quality on this dryer was so bad. Not recommended.

We have been using an older model of this dryer at my other house. The other unit worked so well we got one for the current house. It was a great bargain. They have improved the model but was a great product to start with.

These dryers have a manufacturing defect. The drum has ripples on either side of the weld in the front and back of the drum. This causes the dryer to thud every time it turns and the ripples go over the rollers. Samsung sent me three dryers and every one had this issue. They refused to admit a problem. Home Depot was great and returned the set to replace with lg. Samsung was AWFUL. Samsung customer service was rude and it took somewhere around 24 hrs on the phone, three missed days of work and five delivery trips to resolve this. Do not buy this product. I have pictures and a recording of the problem and they didn't even want to see it.

Clothes come out of the dryer wet or damp regardless of the setting on the dial. Had six (6) LG service calls--can not get the dryer to dry the clothes. Queen size sheets and 4 pillow cases will not dry on Permanent Press without "Timed Dry." "Timed Dry" written on LG Technicians report for me to use. Bought/Installed this unit from/by Home Depot, September 2015. Do not buy this dryer--till your research its drying report.

I bought a new dryer (DV48H7400GW) a few months ago and recently it developed a very loud buzzing/rattling noise. I've had 3 techs come out and they couldn't fix it, the last guy refused to work on it because he said Samsung wouldn't pay him to fix a rattle noise. Not getting anywhere I reached out to Samsung on facebook and posted a video of the noise, they respond to me that the dryer is "operating within manufacturer's specifications" and they won't be helping me. The noise can be heard throughout my entire house and is very loud. I replaced my old pair to get more efficient quieter units and now I'm dealing with this. Anyone have any recommendations as to the culprit of the noise? Noise can be heard here: https://vid.me/0THn
