Arrived with damaged power button, working with Samsung to replace button (hopefully). Drum makes a distinct clunking sound even though unit is level on floor (also hoping to troubleshoot with Samsung). Otherwise, unit does a great job of drying clothes.

The machine worked great for 10 days. Then, it did not dry the clothes. The manufacturer insisted it was not installed correctly by the Home Depot delivery personnel. Home Depot sent their crew back out to check the installation. The installation job was fine. The manufacturer only after this point sent a repair technician out. The striker on this machine was defective. The repairman did not have the needed part in his shop and one would be ordered. I was told the striker does not normally go bad until after 5 years of use. The part eventually came in and, 3 weeks later, the dryer works. I was very disappointed by the manufacturer's attitude in not offering a good will token for my inconvenience. Their comment to me was I should "read the warranty they issue". I was forced me to cart wash back and forth to a laundromat for 3 weeks. I should mentioned Home Depot told me had I elected to purchase their store warranty, my machine would have been replaced immediately. Who knew I'd have such a problem!

I love my new dryer. It sings when it is done! Who does not like a little singing before folding clothes. I actually enjoy the drudgery of folding clothes as they come out of the dryer looking good and smelling unbelievable. It tumbles every few minutes so if you are outside or occupied with something else, you return to wrinkle free shirts! I used to hate laundry but I have changed my mind.

We bought this "look fancy" dryer last May, and we thought this would be a nice one for our family of three. It worked fine in the first several months, but it stopped working in 9 months. Not durable at all, what a terrible experience! If you ever consider a dryer and you think this one looks good, please reconsider! I will never buy any Samsung product, even if they look good and fancy. Hope this would help someone in the future.

I bought the washer and dryer as a pair in white. The dryer is not a true white, more of a beige color. This appliance does not come in beige color, only white, platinum and the red color. I don't understand why the whites can't match on these appliances.

We bought this dryer along with a Samsung front loading washer. It takes a long time to dry clothes, much longer than a Whirlpool that we were replacing.
After 6 month the dryer would run continuously without stopping. We had to unplug the dryer from the wall to get it to stop.
Samsung customer service was very difficult to deal with. They gave us a reference number and told us to call back if the problem persists. Are you kidding I asked them. They said someone will get back to me in 2 days to arrange repair.
Samsung is horrible and I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance again.

I received this washer and dryer from home depot yesterday 02/2/2015, I was extremely excited to try it out we loaded the washing machine put the detergent in the detergent dish closed the door turn it on, the door locked and that is all she rode before it started displaying code AE6. Now my clothes are being held hostage door is tuck on the lock. I then called Samsung to informed them of the trouble and they were absolutely no help the person on the phone kept on telling me to contact the installer I try telling her that I installed it myself but she kept on insisting to contact the installer. I them went to home depot and they were extremely helpful they told me they will send me a new one this Saturday. I will say that I will no longer be buying appliances by Samsung and will check reviews before I buy even if the appliance is on sale

I purchased this dryer on Feb 13th and had it scheduled to be delivered on Feb 20th. The dryer was delivered and installed on the 20th but when the installation guy went to go test the unit the dryer motor hummed for 2 seconds and cut off so the brand new motor was bad. The installation guy took the dryer back and reordered another one with the installation date for today Feb 27th. This time the dryer looked like it had been DROPPED! I know the installation guy didn't do it because I physically watched him unpackage it. So 2 BRAND NEW dryers in 2 WEEKS came in damaged! I have always stood hehind Samsung products. I have over a dozen products by them but I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance again! After the first dryer came in damaged Home Depot compensated me with a gift card. This time they didn't do ANYTHING for me! Instead of doing anything for me for a new dryer again I had to use my gift card they sent me to compensate me on the problems I had with the first dryer I had to use that to purchase a total different brand dryer! I shouldn't of had to use my gift on a purchase of a different dryer! That's poor customer service and shows me that they really DO NOT care! IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD HAVE!!!
