My fridge has not been working for more than 10 days now and I keep getting bounced around between Elite Service, Executive Customer Relations, Samsung's Factory Service, various escalations, three-way calls.
The fridge stopped working 10 days back. The Samsung Elite Service would not act on it and kept on insisting on debugging it over phone. After 3 days, they asked me to schedule a technician appointment by working with their factory service directly.
The Technician visited and diagnosed that it is not repairable, the IceMaker and the liner (Fridge housing) has melted because of which, the entire unit is not functioning.
It has been 5-6 days since the visit during which, I have called Samsung Elite Service, their Factory service and the Executive Customer Relationships. They continue to keep me bouncing around the same story on how the pictures sent on Nov 18th are not received by Samsung. The Factory Service keeps telling that they have sent pictures to Samsung Engineers on 18th. Re-sent on 20th and again on 22nd,
The funny thing is, the technician's took these pictures on his iPhone and spent considerable time with Samsung Engineers during the visit itself.
Right now, it comes across as if Samsung is just deploying delaying tactics to take any actions on a fridge that seem to be un-repairable.
Please stay away from Samsung, Chef Collection.

Received the fridge 2 days ago. The unit came faulty as the fridge part is not working (not cooling at all). Samsung customer service has been the most unhelpful. After 5 phone calls to the standard and Elite customer service centers, a service appointment was scheduled for this morning which was not fulfilled by the service center.

Love the look of this fridge! The inside is very spacious. The refrigerator is a very nice appliance and attractive! Love the option of using right freezer door as a fridge option.
Only 2 complaints:
Drawers for veggies and deli items are rather small.
Cooling fan is is really loud.

I was very hesitant to buy this fridge after reading mixed reviews. So far though, I have been very pleased with my purchase. I have had no issues, other than with the delivery. It took two guys nearly two hours to get it (and a new dryer) in the house and set up. I love the size and storage capacity. It is not loud at all. The ice maker works well. I bought the model with the automatic sparkling water maker (using a CO2 bottle from Sodastream). I probably would not get that option if I were to buy again; it was fun for a few days but really don't use it much. We weren't sodastream buyers before purchasing the fridge. I guess if you like Sodastream or you like sparkling water it would be worth it. There was another model for a couple hundred dollars less that had everything but the sodastream.
Overall I would highly recommend this fridge. Love it!

We bought this fridge back in July 2014. The doors came in misaligned. One of the door is off by 1/2". We finally got the door replaced in Oct 2014, but the door is still not flush with other doors. I had made numberless call to Samsung since then, but no progress at all. The "Executive Customer Relationship Department" always told me that they will call me but they'd never done. They just kept me waiting every time I called and waste 30min on the phone.
This product is such a disappointment. If the quality control can miss such an obvious thing, I can't imagine what kind of quality control they have for the part we don't see.
Save your money and get something cheaper. The build quality doesn't live up to its price tag and as a top of the line product.
First and the last product for me from Samsung.
