I was hoping that HD would answer the question about cutting the sheet into 6" pieces. I guess they don't want anyone to know the answer until they get to the store and find out if they do or don't!!
Asked by: JD
Yes, the first cut is free each additional cut is a small fee.

Is this CDX plywood?

Asked by: Alex
If the plywood in the picture is a good representation of the product, then it's BCX. It is paint-grade (smooth-sanded with no knots), but is below stain-grade (patches and vertical cut-lines). It certainly is exterior-grade, thanks to its water-resistant glue and its Douglas-fir composition. CDX is merely construction-grade, while ACX and BCX are both appearance- and construction-grade.

which wood is this?

Is this fir? & can i use it for my hardwood subfloor or only furniture?
Asked by: Lu
The plywood in the picture is Douglas-fir. At this thickness (¼"), it shouldn't be used as subflooring, but you can use it as a filler (riser) between the subfloor and the wood flooring if needed.

Is this made using waterproof glue?

Am considering using it for building a small boat using an epoxy coating.
Asked by: ducksailor
It does have exterior glue. The best choice would be Home Depot's AB Marine-Grade Plywood (Common: 3/4 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft.). They don't have it at my store; maybe they have it at yours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wanted treated plywood Wanted to order treated plywood, had it on your website, but every store I checked said not carried there. Why put it on the site? Customer service was no problem at all, very helpful. The plywood I finally purchased will do for now, hopefully will last.
