My question is, where do the pipes go? The bath we want to add would be 80 feet from our other bathroom, so I'm guessing we need to tie into that stack. Being on a slab, how do we get from one side of the house to the other?

Answer:
You kind of answered your own question. The discharge and the vent would normally go back to and tie into the main stack. As your existing stack is a good distance away that may not be practical. Meaning it might make more sense to dig a trench to the current sewer pipe and run a secondary stack, with or without a pump. The pump can push the waste the 80' that is not a problem. I would suggest that you call in a plumber in your area to look at the job. A good plumber may look at the job and due to there experience be able to make insightful recommendations that are not obvious but will meet code requirements in your area. Answer:
If the power goes out the pump will not operate. It does not need to be installed in conjunction with a washer or shower. As to hiding the pipes that would depend on the installation. You are welcome to call me if you have further questions. Chris 978 651 3301

Answer:
This product does have ports to handle waste from other fixtures such as a shower and lavatory sink. I would direct you to Saniflo's web site for a specification sheet showing there location.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product was fairly easy to install, and what a difference having a 2nd bathroom makes. I added a half bath in the basement/garage, installing a pedestal sink with the toilet. The install was fairly easy. I ran the hot and cold supply lines off of the washing machine supply lines using 1/2" copper pipe. I had to buy the valves (3) and 20" supply lines (3) at Home Depot. For the discharge I used 1 and 1/2" PVC. No electric work needed because it's ready to plug in to an outlet. The only complaint I would have, is that it does not come with a toilet seat. When spending over 1,000 on the up flush system, you shouldn't have to spend more money on a seat. April 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works amazing A must have for any man cave would definitely recommend this product September 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great purchase the toilet was not as easy to install as they lead on how ever it was not to bad. i was a little concerned with the 3/4" discharge pipe, but seems to work just fine. The pump is very quiet when it runs. the toilet flushes very well. June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a life saver for my basement I wanted to add a bathroom in my basement it is 4 feet below my sewer line. I decide on the saniflo 3 access it was a good choice it was easy to install I would recommend this for anybody that wants to install a bathroom without easy sewer access. It pumps thru a 1 inch pipe. And yes it will not grind up Lego’s should it jam just unplug unit and use a t-20 screwdriver to open and un-jam the blades August 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by exceeds expectations Product exceeds our expectations. Never thought we could have a full bath installed in our basement. Our plumber had this installed in a few hours. Would recommend to others without hesitation. April 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The product is light and compact It's a great product for the money - although, there are some short cuts that made it much easy to install. You can improve the discharge line after the first piece of equipment is installed in the pump discharge hole. October 14, 2013
