I had a compicated installation, but finally got it done. The ease of installation obviously depends on the layout of your situation. Make sure you adhere to the infomation about placement distances. I had no outlet close by so had to add power cord. So far my toilet ring seems to be disappearing, but only had it operable a week or two. Even if it ends up not working up to all the hype, it is here too stay as it took too long to get it installed! If possible, I will update after 3 months which is the recommended time to see results. I am 70+ years old woman and I did it myself.

Before installing the device, water hardness is at 12 gpg. After a day of installing the device, the water hardness went down to 8 gpg. Manufacturer said it will take a month to see the result. I did not expect to see it work after a day of installation and I am very impress of the result. I very very good buy.

Purchased this unit when it went on a steep discount as the deal of the day. Installation was easy enough. It goes much quicker if you keep the wire from tangling while completing the wrapping process. We have a small rancher with limited plumbing. Our shower head and sinks were always getting coated with calcium (along with the dishwasher). Somewhere along the two week installation mark my wife noticed the glasses and silverware started to look shiny and clear. We're well water based and I noticed a general improvement in water pressure. The shower and sinks are now spot free and our clothes are much brighter coming out of the washing machine. This thing works.

the water line was hard to locate so I had to install the wire on the hot water heater, cold side. That was difficult to because of the confined space. The hot water heater was too heavy to move out of the way, even after emtying it. I was able to move it 3 in. Just enough to get one arm around it to reach the water line. wrapping that wire was difficult.
It is to soon to know if it works or not, It takes 90 day for the unit clear the scales out of the pipes, after that time I will know it I like it or not.

Living in Jefferson County, my home has exceptionally "hard water". Toilets, faucets and showerheads all clog with calcium/lime/rust buildup. Keeping spots off shower doors and items that have been through the dishwasher is a near - impossible task. The scientific principal underlying the product seems plausible to me - an electronic field inducing some form of modified ionization of the chemicals in the water. For the price (I got it on sale) this was well worth a try.
Installation was um, tedious. Passing several hundred loops of insulated wire around copper pipes attached to basement walls isn't any fun. I ended up shutting off the water supply, cutting our a suitable length of pipe near the water inlet valve, doing the wrapping and zip-tie process on my workbench and then soldering the pipe back into place with copper unions at both ends.
Surprisingly, after only two weeks, my lady claims her shampoo works better, her hair and skin feel softer and I would have paid the price for the product just to achieve that!

I have no idea if this is working. I purchased on trust. I need another 60 days till I drain my water heater and observe the sediment that supposedly the device will create. I have yet to do a water hardness test. Wire might have been provided on a spool rather than just a gather of wire that was difficult to wrap 50 times around my pipe.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bob33 Works great if you don't have hard water!
You need to have your water checked for the hardness level before buying. If you have hard water at all, this product does not do anything. Our waters hardness is 36. So what I'm saying is that it's "Worthless!" The first one I bought within 3 months of a new hot water heater I had to replace te heating elements. I called the company and they recommended the larger one. So I paid the difference and they shipped it to me. I installed it and the same thing happened. 3 months later I was replacing elements again. We also had lime build up on shower heads and on our granite counter tops. The fancy lights are cool but that's it. Our plumber said they are worthless in an area that has hard water. We had a water softner installed and never had any issue with hard water again. People I really recommend doing your research on this product. I wish I would of. I have 2 of these I will gladly sell and take your money. But I have warrend you. So don't kick yourselves later when you remember reading this!

I purchased with the hope of my faucets would stop clogging up from the hard water scale. All I can say it works, not sure how but it does. Only have had it installed for a couple of weeks and have noticed a big difference in water pressure. Customer service is fantastic. I had installed it to close to an elbow and called to order a replacement wire with expecting to pay for it and was told no charge.
