Customer Questions & Answers

Walmart has the same exact gas can for $10.88. Why do you charge 60% more for it than them?

Asked by: Reed
Home Depot matches competitors' prices if you ask.

Can I return this item for a refund after I fill it will gasoline? The gas will not pour, and I want my money back.

Was out in a blizzard trying to pour into the snowblower. Didn't realize I would need an engineering degree to get this thing to work. A perfect example of what overthinking a simple product will do.
Asked by: Kenny
Kenny, unfortunately, no. Return for refund is not an option once it has been filled with fuel. We do have several different spout styles, perhaps one of the other styles will work better for your application. We would be happy to send you a new spout. Please contact us directly at 855-857-3252.

Very difficult to open once you've closed it because of the toothed gear lock on the spout. Very difficult to keep from overfilling whatever you are filling due to the way the spout has to be inside the tank opening to keep the gas flowing, using the slide switch mechanism that is on the spout. Plus you are forced to hold the Gas Can upside down during the pour, contorting your back and hoping you catch it before overfill, but you won't. If I could take this back, I would. Most frustrating, awkward, painful gas can I have ever owned. I'm giving it a 1 Star rating because I can't give it zero stars.

It results in spilled fuel, hard to judge when tank is almost full in our lawnmower. There's a trigger on the side of the spout that must be pressed against the lip of the tank so vision into the tank is a bit obscured. Flow is either on or off, haven't been able to figure out how to make fuel run out slowly when I think fill point is being reached. A design improvement might be to insure shut off when fuel reaches into the tank nozzle. On the (only) plus side, flow does shut off effectively when pressure on the trigger is released.

This product is not very easy to use, specially when refueling your lawnmower, edgers or wheat eaters. The tube has a security valve to prevent gasoline spills. You have to press very hard by pressing down the refueling tube on the gas tank of your lawn mower and other gas operating tools. By doing these you end up damaging the edges of the gas hole since everything is made out of plastic. I would love to have one of the old gas tanks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product was meant for someone much smarter than me! I am going to tell you what I tell my wife: I'm pretty handy ... a little drywall, painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs But I cannot figure out how to use the spout w/o leaking. Since when do we need instructions on how to use a gas can? At first I felt embarrassed but I see I'm not the only one.

Now that you have this stupid system for pouring gasoline, you will end up spilling more that the old style gas cans. Environmentally this is a disaster.

It seals and unseals when you push the spout into the gas tank of your mower. There is a lip on the spout that catches against your gas tank opening and by pushing the gas can downward, the spout opens. It takes a couple times to understand the simplicity and feel for starting and stopping the flow. One observation. The spout size (diameter) makes it hard to see you tank level on a small push mower so you might accidentally overflow the tank until you get the feel. A smaller diameter might help. I now don't fully open the spout and also start and stop the flow to meter the gas into my push mower.
