Yes, it usually comes with rounded corner but has the drive in face. The squared corner can be ordered if not included. Please call 888-805-9837 if you have anymore questions or concerns.

These ARE NOT universal - I need a left hand model

This has come up a few times but has never been definitively answered. Actually it has, but it's hard to know what answer is correct. Yes, you can switch the handle to the other side of the door, but in the process the arc will reverse from down (hill) to up (valley). This is what I thought logically but I verified it by comparing my broken one that needs to be replaced with the other ones in my house. The ones that point left are PHYSICALLY DIFFERENT than the ones that point right, so you can't just swap handles and be on your merry way. The only way for them to be truly universal would be if you could swap the lock button and the unlock hole without swapping the actual handles themselves.

All of the handles of this style in my house point down, but if I buy and install this the arc will have to point up. Technically it would still work but that is not what I consider to be "universal". There needs to be a left hand model!

The old one that I was replacing and looking at as an example is different than what they are selling now. Now you can remove and swap just the handle lever without taking the lock button or the unlock hole along with it, so yes, they are universal, and it doesn't matter which side (right or left) of the door the door knob goes on or which way you want the levers, you can get it to work in the configuration you want. I bought one and installed it. I had to switch the levers, but they are in the arc down (hill) configuration that I wanted. If for some reason you wanted the valley configuration you could do that too.
I realized that was probably the case after watching a video shortly after I submitted the question. I had an email back to confirm and figured if I just ignored that, the question wouldn't post, but it did anyway, to my regret.
Purchase with confidence knowing that whatever configuration you want the lever in, you can get. It is indeed universal with no need for a separate left and right model. Read Less

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 64 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy and fast Easy to install. Much quieter than the regular door knobs I had before by same manufacturer. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for bathrooms and bedrooms Good solid product. Easy to install. Note that depending on which side your door opens will determine if the handle is situated like an upward curve as the product figure shows (right handed door) or inverted down, then up (left handed doors). To determined handedness, stand under the open door jamb with your back to the hinges. If the door opens to the right, it is right-handed, to the left, left-handed. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great door lever Color matches other satin nickel fixture in our house well. Also, it is a solid feeling lever that quietly opens and closes. It is fairly easy to reverse the direction of the handles. High quality product. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Feel to Handles The handles have a nice solid feel to them and they look great. They can be postiitoned with the handle curving up or down. My handyman installed them and said they were easy to install. I ordered both locking and closet handles in the bronze color. Love them! October 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect accent to my bath remodel. Love love love it! October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful, elegant and easy to install. Perfect modern update to give your doors a feel of old and new. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Prefer Lever Type Door Knobs The lever is certainly better than a knob, especially when you have something in your hands. Definitely better than the Kwikset. If you look at the construction, the latching part has a metal instead of plastic frame and the handle portion has more metal holding it together. October 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by snake and Home depot was the worst part of this bought one day tried to use once and it broke then I had to get a manager to approve refund because you returns desk just gives you customers a bad time and tried to rell me it was against the law to return a defective product for a refund so after spending 1/2 an hour at returns and having the manager return it in 30 seconds I will never buy anything at Home depot again since there is a Lowes right next door to you and I used to be a Pro customer so I am moving a large volume of business away from you because you do not have trained people in Customer service positions August 9, 2016
