We had the Hall and Closet version of these knobs in our new home when we moved in (F10 V ACC 619). We wanted the Bed and Bath version (F40 V ACC 619) in all of our bedrooms because the builder only put this Bed and Bath version in the master bedroom and bathrooms only. We wanted to be able to lock the bedroom and bathroom doors from the inside. Changing it out was easy and it IS indeed reversible. The person who reviewed this product the first time did not look at the included instruction sheet that shows you how to use the included pin to insert it in the small hole on either side of the handles. Then after insertion of the pin, you simply pull both handles out one at a time. After you pull them off, you switch the handles and reinsert them. This makes it possible for the handles to be on the right or left side which allows you to insert it on any door no matter which side it's facing so that the curve is up on the handle (correct position). All your handles will then be uniform. Again, read the included instructions and you will see how to do this.

The product looks great and functions well but there is one down fall which for us is huge since we have an Autistic child that likes to barge in. The lock easily opens in the locked mode by giggling the locked handle a few times. They include and unlock pin for emergencies but we've never needed it. Giggle the handle and pop the door opens. We had to use the matching keyed lock to keep our child from invading privacy.

I bought these handles and because they said they were reversible I thought I shouldn't have any problems as I have doors that swing from the right and left.
I was wrong.
While you can put these handles on a door swinging either way, they do not maintain the same appearance as the rest of your handles.
The design flaw is the lock has to be on the inside portion of the door. This forces you to install the lever upside down on doors that have the handle on the left hand side while you are on the outside (see pictures). I installed these in all of my bedrooms/bathrooms and I have doors next to each other that have the handle swooping a different direction.
If the handle is on the left from the outside of the door this product will have to be installed upside down. As shown in pictures.
I assumed wrongly that reversible meant you could maintain the same appearance.
Schlage makes dummy levers for both right and left swinging doors... they need to make these handles for both left and right swinging doors.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by HandiGeezer Good Product but Wrong Labelling
The product is good and easy to install, but haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability. I bought three latches that were labeled as "Bed/Bath" and "Accent" Style. Two of them were actually "Hall/Passage" type, and all three were "Merano" style instead of the "Accent" style. Speaks volumes about Schlage quality control in Mexico. I would definitely recommend against ordering these latches online as you need to personally inspect each package for correct type and style. This is a good product if the labeling issue can be resolved.
