We got this lock and are installing and are confused on it is suppose to come with a key. There isn't one in the box but there is obviously a keyhole. I imagine one might want a key as back up. Does anyone know - does it come with a key or do we need to a hire a locksmith to come out and key the actual lock for us?

Can the door be unlocked from the inside or only from the outside? We have glass panels on the door and currently have a double sided deadbolt.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 60 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ease of install and use Installed this lock in 15 minutes. It was easy code and install. Allows us not to fumble with our keys August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I now own four (4) separate keypads of this type of door lock. I have installed one for my business and three for my home. Very easy to use and change codes. August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Lock This Schlage electric lock is excellent. It was easy to install (as long as door and jamb is already cut and ready for installation) and primary code and combinations are preset for immediate use. Several YouTube videos easily explain the above for the install and desired combination changes without needing the "busy" instruction manual. Works flawlessly. This model allows for automatic re-locking or leaving it unlocked via the thumb latch. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Product! I love this lock! It is very secure and gives me peace of mind when I leave my home. It allows me to leave my house without taking my clunky keys-- for example when I leave to go on a run/ walk. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Combo lock for the door This is a great lock to have on your door as you don't have to reach for keys, just punch in the code and your set! June 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Third one I now have three doors with this lock. The first one is over 5 years old. All have worked without problem. Battery life is about 2 years and is easy to change. June 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by decent will wear out with heavy use. buttons fall off. But not bad May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good lock I really like not having to fumble with a key to open the door. It is a little tricky getting the pass code programmed but once that occurs it has worked great. If the buttons were a little bigger it would help with people with fat fingers. It does not say on the box, but the handle can be moved to switch sides for those with doors that open from the right.
