I have one of your locks, and the door opens out. So the door jam and mortise are exposed. I would like to get a latch cover to correct this problem. Will it fit?

Answer:
I don't believe this would be the right lock for your application as there would not be room for the latch cover unless the door was modified to allow placement of the cover beneath the lock. From the picture included there would not be room for both.

Answer:
As long as it doesn't hamper the mechanism it might work. It all depends on how the latch cover is designed and installed. I would ask the people at Home Depot where they sell both.

I can't answer that as I have never tried it, but ask one of the associates in that department at Home Depot. They have always been very helpful to me.

Answer:
I do not know if it would work. At the very least, you would have to use the old mechanism. Home Depot has never refused any return of mine. You could always purchase it and try.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by As advertised Good instal directions. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great keyless option I bought this lock so that the pet sitter could get into the house without having to give out a key. It's worked wonderfully. What I especially like about this lock is there is a key override should the battery completely die. That gives me piece of mind. October 19, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sorry it didn't fit. I forgot I had trim on my door and the lock was to tall to fit without some trimming, wife said "NO", back to store. I liked all the features and sorry I had to return. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We LOVE our keyless locks! We are a small bed and breakfast property. We wanted to go "keyless" for our staff AND our guests. We ordered 14 of these locks. The brass finish was beautiful. Installation was easy. The programming was not difficult. The locks have a good warranty. The programming makes it easy to change the codes when an employee leaves. It is also more secure for our guests, as we are able to change the guest room codes from time to time as well. We opted for the flexi-lock option. We love that. Guests have the option of not having to re-enter a code each time the come and go from their room or when making multiple trips with luggage, etc but with the flip of the lever, the door will automatically lock behind them. No keys to remember. No late night calls from guests who have locked themselves out of their room. If they do forget their code, we can simply give them their code by phone. With each lock being able to store up to 19 codes, we can put all of the room codes into our front door lock, so guests only need to remember 1 code. Not 2 (one for their room and one for the front door). That makes it easier for them to remember. The door handles are ADA compliant as well. This is one of those "why didn't we do this sooner" events. May 17, 2016
