If we purchased Schlage locks in store with a key code can we buy the electronic lock online with the matching key code?

Answer: 
NO. The local store will have to re-key the lock at the store. Just buy the lock online and have it shipped to the local store for Pick-up and they will call when it comes in. Then you go pick it up and take it to the hardware area and they will re-key it then.

special keying would have to be done at the store or by a locksmith. You can purchase online and visit a store to have them keyed to your specific code

I have vacation rental properties and wanted to verify that code will work at entry door if Internet in that location becomes disabled. I do not want to mail keys to guests as a back-up in case code does not work. Thx-
