Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Love the convenience of locking unlocking from the phone! Connected to Samsung smart things hub. No worry if door is left unlocked. Installation was easy I did it myself. Looks slick! April 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Lock Have been using for 2 weeks. Mine is not connected to WiFi. Real test will be how it holds up over time. Installation was easy with good instructions. (If your current deadbolt is out of alignment, you'll need to make adjustments for this to function properly.) Makes kind of a loud grinding sound when locking and unlocking. Not beautiful to look at - but you can see that. Seems to work well. Easy to add and delete codes. I like the idea that I can take it with me if I move, and it doesn't leave any screw holes in the door. June 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Handsome looking but unreliable I installed one on each of two doors two years ago. They are convenient and sturdy looking, mechanically but the electronics do not last. The main door lock which is used many times a day has failed three times. Another has failed twice. One failure was the keypad. Another was a firmware bug. Just last week both failed with the same issue and I was locked out of the house. The manufacturer seems to understand the failures and has been superb in honoring their warranty by quickly sending replacements without hassle. Still, the trouble of getting locked out and frequent replacements would make me think twice about purchasing a lock with electronic controls. Another thing to consider is that there is no way to tell at a glance if the lock is engaged or not from the outside so you will develop a habit of trying to open the door first before entering the combination. Awkward. July 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by keyless deadbolt lock was easy to install. Only thing I don't like it is hard to see in the day light. I think I am going to return to get one that has raised keys so you know where the numbers are. But nice lock and works well. August 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ugly and loud I purchased this lock thinking it would look nice on the door but it is really not attractive and quite loud in operation. I ended up returning it. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent experience with this purchase This is my second purchase of this lock for my house. I installed the first one at the front door and my wife liked it, so this one is for the back door. Homes Depot was able to rekey this lock to the same key as the first lock while I waited at the store. The installation was easy by following the instructions exactly, step by step. I like this lock because it has a built-in alarm in case it is tampered with. June 21, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty faulty - but great customer service (so far) The idea of a keyless entry is great, but the touchpad system has it's bugs. We needed just a deadbolt as it was intended for a door with a deadbolt and separate handle and the push-key versions did not have the right dimensions. We ordered 2 and within the first month the first lock had to be manually reset (which wasn't a huge deal, just called the customer service line and they walked us through it). After 3 months the 2nd lock's keypad failed. The lock itself still worked (as it was still auto-locking), but the keypad no longer worked. I called Schlage customer service and under the 1 year warranty they replaced it no questions asked. My only concern is what happens next year if it fails. That's a lot of money spent if it fails after a year. I have not tested it's smartphone functions so that was not taken into account. September 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great door locking system for my vacation rental property This product is easy to install and program codes. It looks good and is durable. I have purchased 10 of these so I know they work well and hold up in pretty extreme conditions (heat, humidity and extreme cold). I will buy more. March 22, 2016
