How do you switch the screw holes to east west instead of north south? I got the handle off the base, but it appears that installing the screw holes east west is not possible?

Since this is a lever there is no way to do it. The lever only installs onto it going one way. Please call 888-805-9837 if you have anymore questions or concerns.

Is this a single handle or does it include a dummy handle for both sides of the door?

We are replacing the handles on an interior double door. Both doors open but the left door locks in position with a bolt. Currently the handles that are on that door turn but don't do anything, they are really just pulls. I think it is a normal handle set for a non-locking interior door set with no bolt. I know I can use that to replace it with but am interested in using the dummy lever to act as the pull (and push# for that door but need a handle on each side. Would I have to order 2 dummy handles #1 right and 1 left) or does this include both handles?

Thank you for your question. Like other manufacturers, Schlage dummy handles are designed to remain in a fixed position, not operate a latch and are affixed to one side of a door. You correctly point out that they act as pulls. Normally these are mounted on a door without a whole drilled through it. From what you describe, I suspect a hole has been drilled thru the face of the door, meaning you will need to replace with a regular passage set and leaving out the latch.

Flair Bright Brass Left-Handed Dummy Lever is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Product with a cheap design drawback Schlage makes good door hardware, however, on this product series they cut corners by not covering up the installation screw heads with a bezell that provides a smooth appearance. The external appearance of the screws that attach these handles to the wood door frame significantly dilutes the upscale level of this product line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid quality and good looks Overall very satisfied with this product... as well as with the entire "Flair" line in the Antique Brass color. They look great and add just enough contemporary appeal to my interior doors. Something to keep in mind though, since it's a dummy lever, it is only one-sided (doesn't have a matching handle on the other side of the door.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dummy lever handle matches regular door handle series It is a non-operating door handle with the same finish as the operating door handle series.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful knob - no right handed option anymore I added these knobs to every door of our remodeled house - but ordered one bi-fold set too few. When I went to order more a few months later, they only offered the left-handed lever - not the right. I had to go with a different style altogether to have a match.
