Aged bronze is much darker and has the copper accents, oil rubbed bronze will appear to be a lighter flat brown color. You will see if the different if you are getting one of each locks.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Although same product color was ordered for front door handle set and dummy handle set - the finish was completely different! Extremely disappointed. It wasn't noticed until after installer finished and boxes were discarded. Please note: installer had checked the boxes and they were 'to be' the same. Poor quality control from Schlage and Home Depot! July 21, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Oil Rubbed- Oil on your hands How long will it take for the oiled bronze to ware down so it wont appear on your hands everytime you use you door? Who knows? Skip this purchase. It is not worth the clean up everytime you use it. There are way better sets out there with better quality. The set I took off was tarnished so I wanted to replace it. If I would not have had to drill a hole in my door I would have just put the old set back on and picked something else. I am going to keep shopping to replace this new set for sure. March 7, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't last a lifetime I live close to the Ocean. The finish on the lock was good for just over a year and now has to be replaced since the latch keeps getting stuck in the down position September 16, 2013
