The Schlage Plymouth Single Cylinder Antique Pewter Keypad Deadbolt allows you to keep your home secure while still providing convenient keyless entry. The keypad can be installed and programmed quickly and requires no wiring for immediate use. The electronic system features a 19-code capacity with 2 pre-set unique 4-digit user codes and a pre-set unique 6-digit programming code.

Can one or more one-time use codes be entered into this lock for service people? I want to put it on my condo so that if the manager has to come in I can issue a code that has already been loaded in the lock but is only good for one entry.

With this lock, it would require adding the code and then deleting the code through the programming process.

Unfortunately, a 1-1/2” bore hole will be too small. The portion that sits inside the hole is not adjustable, thus a standard 2-3/8” bore hole will be required. If you have anymore questions or concerns please call 800-847-1864.

If I order three locks at the same time, can they come keyed alike or will they have to be rekeyed?

If you purchase these locks at a Home Depot retailer you may take them to the service counter and they would be able to assist you having these keyed alike.

I used one of these locks at a vacation rental this summer and was very impressed with how well it worked. It was also very convenient not having to use a key to open the lock. When we got home I immediately ordered one for the door I our garage. The quality was very high and what I expected from Schlage. Replaced the existing dead bolt with this in approx 20 min. Took another few minutes to program in the access code. Very happy with it any would recommend to anyone. One note: read the instructions on how to operate with the key. I just assumed you put the key to override the electronics but there is a sequence you must follow.

This key pad is the best convenience feature for the home owner!! I replaced a schlage deadbolt and with this keypad deadbolt the cylinder swap was easy no messy pins to fumble with made the install quick with no re keying, Key less is the future!

I like this lock because it is not motorized. My door does not fit quite tight without pulling on the handle to get the lock to line up so this is the perfect lock for my situation. It did take the kids a few times to figure out the lock timing since the lock will only work for about 10 seconds after the combo. The outside lock spins free until the correct combo engages the turn mechanism. Setting my custom combo was easy. The installation was not hard but did take a little time. If you can install a regular door knob you can do this. The instructions were good. If you want to use the included more secure door frame lock catch, it may require a little work to get it to fit. If you just want to use your existing frame hole that would work too.

I researched related products, and this was the best electronic lock to use for replacing my previous bolt lock, and it was reasonably priced. Installation instructions were clear, and the lock was surprisingly easy to install. My wife and I are very happy with this lock. I enjoy not needing to carry a house key with me every day. One less thing to remember every morning is always a good thing.

Installation was a breeze! Programming was simple! I really like the non motorized locking mechanism, is much easier on batteries.
I did have an issue with the knob hitting the storm door latch and making it unable to close, but that was rectified by changing the latch handle from a horizontal to vertical orientation. Saved me a bunch of stress and possibly having to buy a new latch.
I don't understand why people buy a product and then complain about features that they think it should've had, when the description and reviews clearly say it doesn't...

Easy install and works great. Only drawback is on my door I have storm door and the bolt turn knob touches my storm door handle which causes some minor issues.

install was easy,the best part is no key entry.you can give a friend a code then delete the code if you wish. this is why i got it.i had to in large the hole in my door a bit, i used a rasp bit on a power drill went slow and it came out fine
