I have some relatives that like to break into my home when I go on vacation. If for some reason I give them my code to enter for example an emergency. How can I be certain that they won't add their own code. At my return I could delete or change my code but I wont know if they have created their own , so they can go in and out without me knowing it. Is there a way to control this?

There is Emergency Jump Start Contacts on the outside Lock, incase the battery is fully dead. (use a known good 9 volt battery)
This Lock works very well, and I love it's features.

Touch Camelot Aged Bronze Deadbolt is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from It can be drilled from bottom, left side; just saw the video..... It installed fine, looked great; then I saw a video on YouTube where a guy takes a drill to the bottom, left side and opens it. Schlage front plates and keyholes are made from hard material that cannot be drilled. Small, battery powered drills are quiet and in this video it only took about 3 seconds. After putting inside deadbolt restraints on 3 door locks, I decided on this one so that the garage remote would not be the only point of outside access in case the power was out, or remote malfunctioned. I was very disappointed to see this because Schlage's interior parts are made better than the others. Why didn't they use the hard, non-drillable material for the vulnerable bottom frame. If they had, this would be a great lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice great lock. I had to buy a new lock because the ex broke in to my place. I had a deadbolt but she had a bumpkey or something (or a locksmith come in) This lock has no key, so there is nothing to pick, lose, key for someone to find while you are in the shower......etc. Since then, no problems. There is a battery in it.. but it does not turn the bolt. You do that yourself. I am ok with this because it is one less thing to fail. The only negative is that you have to enter the key to leave. This isn't really a negative. You would need a key for a deadbolt too. i bought a matching handle door in nickel. Same Camelot style. It looks great. There is a button for a light on this, which helps at night. Lock feels substantial.

I installed 2 units, one on the back entry and one on the front door. Smooth operation, simple installation and set up, and they look and feel like high quality locks. Battery changes are very simple and don't require any disassembly. Just slide off the cover and plug in a new 9V. It beats carrying keys around, and I like the fact that it has multiple user codes, so if you have to have someone access your house, they can do that without using your code.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and use I didn't think it was necessary to spend the additional money on the Connect series, considering I would be instilling several of these locks on our house. Install was a breeze and very easy. Would highly recommend for anyone that wants to go keyless for their locks but don't want to compromise on security. I chose the Aged Bronze. Love the look and the quality. Very sturdy lock!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We have kids, extended family, babysitters, and no more keys to worry about. Simple to use and replaces existing deadbolt in about 10 min. So far we love it. The "dead battery" concern is a non-issue with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well thought out keyless deadbolt This a very well thought out deadbolt It has an easy programming method and allows multiple codes for multiple users. Very easy to install. Since there is no key, only users with a code can unlock. If the battery dies, you can press a 9v battery to the outside of the unit to power it up so you can unlock it and change the battery You can turn the sound on and off. Some advice: Save the owners manual incase you forget the code because it has your default codes on it. Also there is a lot of information packed into the short directions so read them carefully so you don't miss anything. Please see my video for a demonstration

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Electronic touchpad Entry door dead bolt. When I hear the word "Schlage" the only thing that comes in to the mind is door lock. I have been hearing this word since a very long time, and I know that Schlage means door lock and door lock means Schlage. Years have passed, and Technology is improving every day. Schlage has come up with the newest product, the "Touch". The touch pad is fingerprint resistant, so nobody can copy even you finger print. This new product, Schlage Touch Camelot Aged Bronze Deadbolt is a very durable elegant and very convenient lock set. The design is very pleasing to the mind. You don't need any more key , to open the door, means there’s nothing to lose, nothing to fiddle with, and for intruders nothing to pick; just remember the code. This electronic Lock is powered by 9-volt battery, which is installed inside the lock, and can installed or removed from inside the house by just prying out the battery case on top of the set. The LED down lighting on the numbers and lever is very convenient, so you do not need a flash light to open the door. It was very easy to install, much easier than the regular conventional lock set: just under 10 minutes. You can save up to 19 access codes on the lock set; for you and your friends or relatives. The factory default security code and access codes can be changed easily. Also, you can delete, and reprogram the access codes, or even reset to factory default. This set can be used as the main entry/exit door lock. When exiting, just close the door, push "Schlage" on the keypad, the green light will come ON, then turn the lock knob, and you are ready to go. After one second, it is locked and cannot be opened unless you have the code number. When the battery drains down, in about 2 years, you will get a warning light icon for few days. Even if you did not change the battery, and it died, you can still open the door by jump starting the lock from outside, with a 9 volt battery, which is a very convenient new feature. Thanks Schlage, for keeping up with or ahead of the flow of the technology with amazing new products!
