The DHERSD/BW is a programmable digital thermostat designed to control the Ditra-Heat heating cables. There are over 250 pre-set programs including an anticipated start function to choose from. It also has a built-in ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) and works with the 120-Volt and 240-Volt cables.

How many cable wires can be connected to the thermostat. I need roughly 4 rolls of cable due to lenghts available

Answer: 
The manufacturer says 1 or 2 wires can be connected to one thermostat, as long as you do not exceed the amp draw limit also. If you have such a large area that you need 4 long spools of wire, you can get their special "power module" that extends power output. I think you'd be better off dividing the space into 2 zones and put 2 thermostats out there, one for each zone.

Answer: 
According to the manual, the only limit is on the total amperage draw... "Max 16amp on 20 amp circuit"
So if you have 4 cables at 4 amps or less each it will work
