Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mikee772 Good buy, easy install, use as directed and a sure bet for waterproofing.
When using this product use the directions and you can't fail. Kerdi will work for you as a complete waterproofing system behind your tiles. Do not worry if you get thin set on the top of the Kerdi. It will have more thinset on it when putting up your tiles. Have some fun !

Would not recommend this product. Extremely difficult to install over cement board. It simply would not stick to it. I have returned the used stuff back to Home Depot they took it back no questions asked and they told me about people having hard time installing it over cement/concrete.

I have been using Kerdi membrane for years. (remodeling apartment bathrooms). I would not tile a shower without using this great product!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mtman Kerdi shower and tub
The Kerdi fabric is easy to install as long as you remember to mix the mortar fairly thin, and use unmodified, and then smooth it out carefully. Don't try to install it around the corners, but use the thinner joint tape instead. I've done four showers for myself and friends and the stuff works great. It is well worth the money - if you don't think so, try repairing the problems with water in your walls! Plus no breathing problems like you can run into with some of the roll on products.
