Customer Questions & Answers

is there a track on the bottom edge to keep the water from leaking out?

This says trackless but it looks like it has a track on the bottom. Do you really need those plastic gaskets on the vertical edge of the doors? Are there bumpers where the door closes? thanks
Asked by: Sandie
Yes, there are bumpers on top for the rollers.

Will this door fit in a 57 1/2 inch opening?

Example: I have looked at the manual and can't figure out what I did wrong.
Asked by: Boater
Yes, I was told you can go smaller but not over say 59-1/2" wide.

What is the size of the box containing this shower door? I'm trying to establish if a small SUV will be big enough to pick it up from the store.

Asked by: IJ
It comes in a wooden crate and is 200 lbs. I don't have exact measurements of the crate but if I was to guess, I would say it was at least 40" wide by 65" long???

It works perfectly and as it was installed correctly, no problems with water leaking out. My installer was a very competent guy and did a great job. It took him about 4-5 hours to install it, not an easy task. Also you really need two people as the doors are heavy. Need help getting the door in the track while holding it above so not for one person. I have recommended this and the other door I got from you for my other bathroom, the Lindsay. That is a tall door for shower only. It also works perfectly and does not leak. I've shown my bathrooms to lots of people, some of whom are in the real estate and hotel business. They were impressed and asked me where I got it. Home Depot! very surprised! This is a good product and I have recommended it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Product. This purchase met all expectations. This is a very high quality product given the wide array of options on the market. It was the final infall for our newly remodeled bathroom. The manufacturer's description is silent on the issue of 'out-of-plumb' installations, so I asked Home Depot to check on this. It does have some adjustability for minor out-of-plumb walls. My problem was small so the install was fine. If you install this yourself, use a torque wrench for the door roller bolts rather than the "ratchet" recommended. You can be a little more accurate with the tension. We think the door is very nice looking. Door movement is nearly silent and it does not leak anywhere. Allow 2 hours (+) for install. Taking a quality photograph of a glass shower door was more difficult than the install. This still does not do it justice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shower/Tub Doors on the Market!!! The glass doors are substantial and has the clearest viewing glass than doors costing considerably more. Would highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from unclear instructions The instructions for this item are not clear and miss some steps and end up wondering where and how to install some parts, so you have to figure it out yourself, also the parts are not labeled the some in the instructions and parts box, that makes it dificult to figure out Which screw or part to use. IOther than that the door looks very nice once installed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice door for the price This was the cheapest "trackless" door I could find in this thickness. I don't know anything about the installation, since I hired someone to install it. The bottom metal piece that keeps the door on the top track is only on one end of the door. I think it should be on both ends because after heavy use this weekend, the door did get off track. It was easy to put back on the track, but I thought the design could be a little better hence the 4 stars. The door is very good looking and sturdy/heavy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from by lots of silicone caulk I said yes to recommend only because there is no "not sure" leaks all over the place if you don't caulk all the plastic edging. And I mean on the top of the edging on the glass; because the water seeps donw into the plastic edging and up over on the outside; and on the bottom where it meets the bathtub. You have to caulk every thing on the glass also. If you're not careful when you caulk it's a mess. The silicone leaves a residue on the glass and it's very difficult to remove. To clean the doors you have to remove the edging on the outside to reach the "void" area. overall it's a beautiful door, poor design to resist leaks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase every We have put a lot of things together in our life, but this one was the worst. The directions were useless. the part numbers didn't match the numbers on the directions.I called about one part that was in the box as to where it went the person I spoke with said they failed to put it in the directions & a lot of people were calling about it.We paid about 200.00 more for this shower door thinking it was better . Big mistake.
