Thank you for your question. Turn on the faucet with the handle in the "on" position and then unplug the battery box. You should now be able to turn the unit on and off with the handle.

Hello
I'm currently installing new granite countertops in my kitchen and have chosen to use this particular faucet. Can you tell me what size of hole I need to place in the granite to accommodate this faucet. Schon 67558-0108D2

The hole size is the same as a standard sink opening, approximately 1 1/4" - 1 1/2", mine fit perfectly in the existing hole in my sink top for the old faucet.

Yes, I set mine to various temperature settings, and even adjusted the flow rate. The sensor worked in every combination I tried.Just keep your hand within 8" when activating.

I just installed my MODERN SINGLE-HANDLE SENSOR PULL-DOWN SPRAYER KITCHEN FAUCET IN STAINLESS STEEL today. The hardest part was removing the old faucet, always have a capable helper when tackling this project, You need hand above and below the sink. Installation was easy, simply followed the well written instructions. The only problem after installation was that the copper pipes under the sink were to short. A short trip to my local Home Depot quickly solved this problem. The faucet works perfectly, really enjoyed the push button sprayer and the hands free operation. Looks great on my stainless steel sink.

After searching for 2 months for the perfect faucet, one that was moderm and had an automatic sensor that would not cost a fortune, I came across this Schon automatic faucet. It was the perfect height and design, and it compliments my remodeled kitchen. As my husband and I are amatures, we followed the instructions and installed the faucet in very little time. We are very pleased with this purchase as well as the other purchases made through this site; we also purchased the Schon sink and it was also an incredible value and the quality of both products was exemplary. I expected no less from Home Depot and I was not disappointed.

This Schon faucet has a modern look and feel to it especially considering its motion sensor. It is not touch activated, but instead operates via motion detection by waving a hand near the motion sensor that’s on the left of the faucet. Installation was fairly simple and the motion sensor worked well in my experience. However do to the following design flaws or defects I had to exchange it for something else. Here’s what I’ve encountered:
1. The water flow in my case was spraying to the sides. So instead of a smooth aerated stream, it was also randomly spraying a bit sideways - see pictures. Either a defective cartridge or something got inside - since there are no check valves supplied. Either way, I did not have that problem with my old or current faucet.
2. The faucet is advertised to have two modes – spray and stream. Both do work and the default is the aerated stream. However if you desire to use the spray, there is only a button to activate it and it’s on the back of the spray head. The spray feature cannot be permanently turned or switched on because the button has to be held. Once the button is let go, it returns back to the aerated stream. Also, the button is very small and a bit hard to press. Although this may not be considered as a negative by everyone. In my experience it was, especially considering that most faucets have a switch that doesn’t require being held while used.
3. The main pullout hose is very stiff and therefore pulled the entire faucet towards the center every time I tried to move it either left or right. So instead of staying in place when moved in either direction it would slowly spring back towards the center. Seemed almost as if it wasn’t tested when designed.
4. Calling Schon wasn’t very helpful initially. Their phone number on the installation manual takes you to the warranty department at “Your Other Warehouse” where the only option is replacement. Apparently Schon is not a separate company, but a brand that’s made exclusively for Home Depot and is also sold by a few other retailers. So there isn’t any troubleshooting or repair over the phone from Schon staff, just warranty replacement assistance by Your Other Warehouse.
So to sum it up. If my issues were an isolated incident and you don’t care about the button vs switch for the water flow, then it’s a decent looking faucet with a motion sensor that works well. The handle is easy to operate and installation is simple with all parts (including the Escutcheon) and batteries provided. But overall, in my experience it was not to my liking.

This faucet is a great compliment to a stylish kitchen. Having the sensor is a great feature for hands free use. The sensor is located on the side of the unit which is helpful for avoiding the faucet from turning on when your hands are more in the front of the faucet. Waiving your hand at the side is a very natural motion. The faucet is packaged very nicely with very easy to understand instructions. I would strongly recommend this item to anyone looking for a new & stylish faucet!!

I really like the modern sleek design of this faucet. The installation was a little more involved than other faucets because of the sensor but the instructions were easy to follow. It took two of us because while I was under the sink trying to screw the nut to the faucet, my wife had to hold the faucet in place. Since it was taller, it wanted to tip over. I also had trouble getting the nylon braided hoses under the faucet through the hole in my sink. My sink is older and it was such a tight fit, I had to grind out the hole and then the nylon material wanted to fray. It would have been better if the hoses were the stainless coated type that don't fray. You also have to be mindful of the orientation of the lines on the final fit because the spout had a tendency to pull to either the right or left depending on the tension created from the hose orientation. The hand sensor is quite sensitive. Where the blue bottle is, is where the sensor range ends. As I was cleaning the sink it was going on and off. You can't leave anything inside that range, such as a soap bottle or brush or it stops the sensor from picking up your hand. The flow is great and the pull down sprayer works very well. I'm very happy with the faucet after the installation issues were resolved.

I was very surprised how nice this faucet was when it arrived. Overall quality is excellent , styling is very modern. The finish and feel are both great.
Inside the box is everything you need in parts to install. Installation is like most faucets except for the control box and power source. Both the control box and battery power source are plug in so even this is easy. If this is a new installation it should go quickly , for a remodel there are lots of variables to be sure of before starting your job. Instructions are straight forward , easy to follow and to the point. This is a do it yourself project but if your not comfortable with plumbing you might consider professional installation? Read all,the instructions and check all your parts to be sure they are there not damaged and go together as the instruction indicate. In my box the hoses were mislabeled which might confuse you if you haven't worked with faucets and understand how they work.
Performance is good I've not had any issues with the sensor not working , water flow is good , spray is sufficient , not as wide as my old Kohler but does the job as expected. The nozzle pull out and retraction works well. Make sure you have no obstruction underneath the sink area as this is usually where you will have problems.
I would recommend this product if this is the style and technology in mind. The quality is very good and works as designed. For myself the nozzle is smaller than I like but acceptable if this is the style your looking for. I have ordered the optional ac adapter as changing batteries is not for me.

This thing just screams quality.. Very well made and very attractive. It carries a higher pricetag than any kitchen faucet i have owned before but I really understand why.
From its quality materials and perfect fit and finish you will be proud to have this in your kitchen.
The sensor to turn the water on and off with is a great idea and i see it being especially handy in the summer when grass cutting, gardening and the like return as a way of life as well as when painting. Less to clean up before I get yelled at! lol
Of course it will be handy when cooking for the same reasons, less mess on the faucet.
Installation was no more difficult than any faucet I've ever put in.

I love this new faucet. Finished the final touches of remodeling my kitchen and this makes my kitchen look like one of the showcase homes. There are times when I have stuff on my hands when I prepare foods but I simply run my hand under the faucet and the sensor kicks in and washes my hands. For the features I think the faucet is a decent price. Directions are easy and straight forward. Hope they make bathroom faucets that are touch less.
