You don't need a deck plate to install this faucet. I used one in my installation but that was because I had a three hole sink.

Absolutely - do not install the deck plate if you don't need to. The deck plate is only necessary if your sink has extra holes you want to cover. If you don't need it - leave it off - much less to clean around.

Yes. It is a light hold, but it's doing the job for me so far (about a month since install). It is key to position the weight that comes with it on the hose so that it helps hold it taut.

Or you can take the dispenser from the top and use a funnel to add liquid soap to the bottle below. DO NOT FILL TO THE TOP. Fill to about an inch or 2 below the mouth. Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal!....Position the Handle to the front. Another reviewer recommended mounting the handle in the front (see "Alternate way to mount"). This way all drips go into the sink and works great. First thing I noticed was increased water pressure which is what I was hoping for. Large in size, heavy duty, and visually appealing. The sprayer pressure is just OK. You have to wiggle the spray head to get the magnet to fully seat back to the head. Even though, its a great faucet for the money! April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buy I was very please with this faucet. It was easy to install and looks good with our new granite countertop. So far all is working well. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love It? The faucet assembly was easy to install. I did it myself. My husband did tighten the fittings just to be sure, but the whole thing went in exactly as described in the insturctions. Love it. Really adds style to our kitchen. August 30, 2016
