Rated 1 out of 5Â by SPUDS EASY ON, IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE
On the recomendation of the Home Depot Sales Associate in the paint department, a department I have always trusted, i purchased enough of this product to winterize an enclosed deck. Touted as "better that the thinner 2-sided film tape, it failed to hold plastic sheeting, during a mild wind event, within one week. It has taken the balance of 36 months to remove this tape. Where as the thinner, traditional 2-sided tape peels off in long strips and holds itself together, this product comes off in pieces, very small pieces, and not easily. Using everything from adhesive remover to cooking oil, I worked daily all this spring and summer peeling and scraping and repainting to get my deck back. Sometimes newer is not better!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by LAURA The tape is great, I have every confidence in it's abitlity to hold, except on processed wood which seems to be ever dusty.
The tape is great, I have every confidence in it's abitlity to hold, except on processed wood which seems to be ever dusty with powdery saw dust. Probably okay after a warm day and compression. I used this to mount solar panel metal frames to a glass window. Made a real tight fast bond with those materials.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by JB7304 Great for permanent installations
We have used this product to install aluminum traffic signs outdoors, plastic and enameled steel signs, & plastic restroom dispensers to tile, steel, block and concrete with great results. It is a great option for permanent mounting when traditional fasteners are not an option or when theft is a concern. When future removal may be needed, tape should be applied near the edge so that removal is possible with a razor without destroying the item.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by HappyCustomerRob Excellent adhesive, highly recommend
This adhesive tape sure did come in handy. I needed to reattach the trim piece that broke off the door of my BMW 5 Series after I full out rage-slammed it during the holidays.
"Whoops!" I thought. Big expensive whoops, in fact, as it was going to cost over $200 for a new 24" wooden trim piece, not including labor. This mounting tape sure saved the day, I highly recommend it. I can imagine there'd be other uses for it as well.
