Howdy AlleyCat,
There are 87120 in 2 acres. Since one of these is rated for 5000 square acres. This would take 17 1/2 containers of Turf Builder to fertilize.
Your best bet would be to buy 50lb bags of fertilizer.
Happy fertilizing,
Coach Dave

Answer:
This product is a lawn fertilizer only and does not contain a weed control. We do manufacture a similar product, Liquid Turf Builder with Plus 2, which will control broadleaf weeds on listed lawn types.

We are sorry to hear that the product does not appear to be siphoning correctly. Be sure that the on/off switch is switched fully to the on position we also suggest checking to make sure your water pressure is at least 40 psi and the hose that you are using is less than 50 ft (longer hoses tend to decrease the water pressure at the container). Answer:
Hi Bowsh,
Sorry to see that you're having trouble with your Turfbuilder.
Unscrew the cap from the bottle and inspect the siphon hose to make sure that it is connected to the dispenser. It may be clogged.
In either case, return the defective product for an exchance or refund.

Answer:
Hi Gary,
Ortho Weed-B-Gon requires 48 hours wait time before applying water to the affected plants.
Wait 2 days from the time you applied the Ortho product before spraying the Turfbuilder Liquid fertilizer.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 91 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great product in a bad bottle Like others have said, product did not dispense from the bottle. The next design revision of the bottle should have a cap instead of the sprayer. I'd rather use my own hose end sprayer to water my lawn. July 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Might be good if it came out of the bottle. I have used product similar to this but they actually came out of the bottle. This is not dispensing and I read this is a common problem. Great Scotts. June 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor construction After attaching this device to the garden hose and turning the water on, the container blew off, leaving only the attaching ring on the hose, and soaking me. What's more, the "booklet" was unreadable because it was made of paper and after getting wet (garden hose -- hello), the pages were all glued together. Poorly conceived and poorly constructed. I expected much better from Scotts. July 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fail This is a review to tell you to listen to the bad reviews. This is one time they are all correct. The function o the bottle does not work. I had to pour it out in front of my garden nozzle. Scott's should not release this product. And no store should put it on their shelves June 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product! With a new construction home comes the headache of a nice yard. I used the Scotts weed and feed first and then 2 weeks later the turf builder. My lawn looks like I put sod in. Extremely happy with this product. June 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WOULD NOT RECOMMEND I Would not recommend this product. Horrible design. The fertilizer does not even come out, just water. Have read numerous complaints about this and it still has not been fixed. I am not happy with this product at all. Will be switching to a different brand. May 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY!!! PRODUCT DOES NOT FEED Wish I had read reviews here first. As others have said product does not feed from bottle. Oh and my water pressure is fine April 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dark green with no weeds I live at the beach in cape cod ma., when I planted My lawn my neighbors said you live on a sand bar and can't grow a lawn .I brought in 120 yards of loam put down 6 inches and 60 sprinkler heads .Started with Scotts sun and shade seed .Put down starter fertilizer every two weeks for 6 weeks .I use all of the Scott's products on My lawn .Step 1 ,step 2 ,then grubex ,late june I put down summer guard with insect control ,early august super turf builder the winter in october.one year I hired a lawn company and My lawn did not look very well .My lawn is 8 years old and if you like baseball it looks like Fenway park. Thanks for the good products .Ken W [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] June 23, 2015
