Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 470 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Read the instructions and online content This product works exactly as Scotts says it does if you really do your homework on it. I read all printing on the bag, all online content (including customer reviews and user tips), and was, therefore, not disappointed with the results. As the product requires that the leaf surface of the weeds must be wet so the product can better adhere to it I chose to apply it on very dewy mornings with no rain forecast for the next few days. I also mowed my grass in accordance with the instructions. As such I am confident that the product did kill most of the weeds that came in contact with it while at the same time fertilizing the rest of my yard. September 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Yes I would recommend this product. I have been taking care of my lawn since I was a teenager, and that has been for over 30 years. I have always used Scotts products, because they work and the value is excellent. I do remember when i could get he 15KSqft2 bag for the price of the small bag. I follow Scotts instructions to the letter and have never had any problems with my lawn. Honestly, no fertilizer will remove and prevent 100% weed free(except the crab grass preventer that does kill 100 % of the crab grass), but Scotts does a great job, I use all their products- spreader, crabgrass preventer, summarizer and Fall fertilizer. If your burning your lawn, then your just using too much. I would high recommend Scotts products to anyone. September 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loyal User for Several Years! I have used various forms of lawn maintenance products for over 30 years. I have hired contracted lawn services to maintain my lawns professionally. Since I have been using Scott's Lawn Fertilizer programs, my lawn has never been better! My favorite application every year is the Turf Builder Weed and Feed. I cut my grass short every spring, then use the recommended spreader amounts, and within 2 weeks the broad leaf weeds are gone and my grass is as green as it was when it was professionally maintained! I highly recommend the Scotts fertilizer program and it has never failed me yet .... September 30, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Weed and Feed for Fall in the South Putting our trust in Scott's products once again. We had Bermuda sod put down this year and we sure don't want our investment to be ruined or not grow as it should. I spoke to the Scott's professionals and was told after the 4th cutting we should do the weed and feed for the fall. I have my bag of Weed and Feed and will put down the end of Oct. or first of Nov. We had to hurry fast after the first few weeks after the sod was put down...the army worms were attacking it, so Scott's to the rescue again...never any surprises using Scotts...Thanks October 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy & cost effective with a little planning We went from always having our lawn serviced to DIY this year. We followed the Scott's program as they instructed for our climate area. It is amazing how great the lawn looks and how much money we saved by doing it ourself. It only takes a little bit of planning and calendar management which was made easy by just setting reminder alarms in my phone. I highly recommend. The only negative is that I always end up with some granuals on the garage floor from small spill, wheels of spreader etc. Not a big deal to sweep up but I worry of my dog getting into it.
