I was using a professional service for my lawn, but wasn't getting the results I wanted. What was appealing about the Snap, is the ease of use. The only disadvantage is The Home Depot doesn't adequately keep enough fertilizer in stock. I frequently have to go to a competitor to get the product I need to use with the Snap Spreader

It is easy. Everyone's busy. I wanted something quick and easy. This is both. Quick and easy setup. Quick and easy to use. But most important, quick and easy to clean up and put away. Great product!

Easy to use and less chance of inhaling the dust - keeps it all contained.

It is kind of handy but only if you are using Scott's. So you need two spreaders

I have used various spreaders and this works the best..bag are sealed, no pouring...just snap it in..there is more value in using a different spreader that you pour but having sealed bags around my boys gives me some piece of my mind that they will not knock them over and make a mess.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KenB Nice item but appeared to be used
When I went to pick it up, it was not in a box and appeared to be used. I asked for a different one and was told that they were all that way. There was a small amount of rust on the handle and was very dirty. They apparently had them all sitting outside and I got one of their many Floor Models. Great item though

The spreader was very lightweight and easy to use, attaching and locking the bag was a breeze and I enjoyed spreading the insect killer in my yard. Love it!!!!

This has to be the worst product from Scotts by far. One wheel is hard to turn when full. Handle broke after less the a half dozen uses. Get a regular spreader to save on a headache.
