While it is not required, for best results we suggest watering this product in after the application. If the temperatures are above 90F or no rain is expected for the next several days we suggest watering the application in immediately.

Easy as it gets. Flip the disconnect lever, and set the bag in storage. It won't leak or get clumpy.

Answer:
It is extremely easy to use only a partial portion of the bags. Each Snap Pac bag is self sealing, once removed from the Snap Spreader it will automatically seal, so there is no tape or sealing on your part required. The youtube video linked to this will show this feature around the 32 second mark.

Answer:
If you think one bag is enough, better buy two bags. It doesn't really cover the footage it says it does. Of course, everyone wants to put down a little more than recommended!! It's just human natrue!

Answer:
When used according to label instructions, plain fertilizers pose no health risks. Both humans and animals may reenter immediately after application. While not necessary, as an additional precaution, water application area and allow it to dry before reentering.

Snap Pac 13.15 lb. Lawn Fertilizer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I've been using this fertilizer since I bought my house five years ago and it transformed an unsightly yard into a blade-perfect lawn--I wouldn't use any other product. The Snap Pac system is also incredibly convenient and easy to use. The only caveat is you'll get definitely get burn marks if you overspread, so be careful in that regard. I also use Scotts crabgrass preventer in the fall and spring which has been very beneficial. My neighbors wonder how I get such a perfect lawn--I'm the King Of Suburban Lawns--how great is that?!

You don't have to set any measurements. You just literally snap it in and go. I have had mine for about 5 years and it makes it so much easier for those of us with physical limitations. My lawn is beautiful and healthy using these products. I highly recommend these products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use For convenience you can't beat it. It doesn't spray out so uncontrollably all over the driveway, you can set it to not spray on the one side, It doesn't clump the way my old one did, and the pellets don't get wet so you can use it in the rain. I like the fact that it is steady and even, I used to get a huge sudden charge of pellets at the beginning, enough to kill the lawn with my older system. The bags are smaller for an old lady like me to handle. I haven't compared price I am sure it costs a bit more, but the convenience makes it worth it to me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Everything is not quite what it seems This is the year I had to buy a new spreader, so the only thing I found was the new Snap system. The bag said it covered 4000 sq. ft. My lot hasn't grown any, and previously used the Weed and Feed to cover 1000 sq.ft. Why would this only cover my front yard, and not the back yard? Bag and spreader cost me $50. +/- and to go and buy another $20.+ bag doesn't make this very cost-effective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was so easy to just put the bag on the spreader and walk where my lawn needed the fertilizer. I am used to using a drop spreader and it takes some getting used to using a broadcast spreader. I found that the spreader would not broadcast when I walked uphill. It is so convenient to use the snap spreader. I will have to work with it and learn use the broadcast feature. Thanks Scotts for coming up with such a great idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time Scott's Snap user This is my first year using the Scott's Snap Fertilizer system. Living on an acre of land it takes eight bags of fertilizer to cover. Myt previous fertilizer plan with Scott's took two 15000 sq ft bags and one 5000 sq ft bags. In addition, I set my broadcast spreader .5 lower to make sure I had enough product. Now for the snap system...the snap fertilizer spreader worked right out of the box, just fold up the handles and I was ready. I put the bag of fertilizer on spreader, locked it in place by flipping switch on the spreader and was ready to go. I pushed the light weight spreader onto the lawn and activated the fertilizer dispersal by pulling the lever up. When no more fertilizer came out, the bag was empty. In all, it took a little over seven bags to treat my lawn. The spreader determined the proper spread rate. This by far the easiest fertilizer system that I have ever used. Now for the results, I have a thick beautiful deep green lawn and the fertilizer was put on evenly, taking about 5 ft passes between passes. Thanks Scott's for designing such a wonderful system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yup...it's a snap The Snap line of fertilizer is sooo easy! It's a little more expensive than regular lawn care, but you're done in half the time. Also the wheels are large enough that pushing is effortless. If you are smart, when the bag is empty, you can cut it at the top and add more product from a more econmical large bag. Still, it's a great choice. The machine itself is pretty light. The "edge guard" feature is handy so you can avoid spreading product on the street or driveway.
