The bag should give you the types of grass that you can use this on. If not, contact Scotts either by email or phone.

Answer:
No problem to use partial bag. It closes easily for storage. I would think you would want to use the product in months - not years because of moisture, etc.

Answer:
It is extremely easy to use only a partial portion of the bags. Each Snap Pac bag is self sealing, once removed from the Snap Spreader it will automatically seal, so there is no tape or sealing on your part required. The youtube video linked to this will show this feature around the 32 second mark.

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't expect miracles I have used this for two years now, but it only eliminates some of the weeds. I have a number of different types of weeds in the lawn of the home I purchased two years ago. It doesn't impact quite a few of them. Maybe I'm asking too much, but also shouldn't have to buy 5 types of weed killer for my small lawn. Not sure what the right answer is. This isn't it. May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very convenient product I have a small yard and love the small size and easy storage. I look forward to trying the other product that fit the system. May 17, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by snap pac southern weed & feed very easy to use it on my snap pac spreader to spread it on my front & back yards. I decided to try this different one on "SOUTHERN" weed & feed instead of snap weed & feed fertilizer that i normally buy every year. not much notice to kill weeds from this southern weed & feed. still have weeds. will not buy this one but only snap weed & feed fertilizer only. it was done late march just before rain next day. always use those that it will be raining tmw. that helps to save not to use house water but nature's. April 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the Yard The sack snapped right onto the feeder and feeding was easy. My lawn looks great. April 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wrong product for late winter Product is intended for use in spring but was the only SNAP product available in late Feb. Bought it as I needed some fertilizer. Should have had SNAP Fertilizer with Crabgrass Preventer as this can be used in early spring and down south March is OK. Southern Weed Feed is for after March 15 or later. March 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works good This product works good if used over a period of time. You see less weeds and greener color. March 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Scott products Good product. Scotts needs to come up with a bag for this spreader that is re-usable so other Scotts products not produced in these bags can still be used in this spreader. October 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money I don't know if they changed this product. I used it 2 yrs. ago and had pretty good success, but this year it didn't kill a single weed. Highly disappointed in this product. April 28, 2015
