Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JOE1234 90 % weeds
Thus product is the worst I have ever used. I have 90% weeds and
10% grass. Scotts should come up with a better product. Perhaps
I bad batch. Really down on Scotts I will stay away from any thing
with their name on it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jtspea2 Worst Grass Seed I've ever used
I prepped my front yard by adding a thick layer of topsoil then used the recommended amount of seed which is very expensive compared to competitive products. After a couple of weeks of watering I noticed a very limited amount of sprouts. I then put down another bag, followed by another bag of seed. This is the second year I've had this seed on my front yard and it still looks bad, 1/3 the thickness of my neighbors and constantly fighting weeds. In comparison my back yard was seeded with cheep fescue mix and looks great. Scott's needs to stop focusing on high tech and get back to quality. At the suggestion of my lawn service I have discontinued the use of all Scott's products. Also, I did complain to Scott's, they offered to refund my money if I could provide the original bags and receipts which I of course did not keep.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Theresa only 10% germinate after 4 weeks
I put seed and covered it with 1/4 inch good quality organic topper soil on March 11 and watered it twice everyday, it rained a couple of days too. But after 4 weeks only 10% very tinny sprouts came out, don't know what's wrong with the seeds. I bought this because of the good review here, but I'm so disappointed of this product, it wasted my time, water and effort, I will never buy it again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dhealy01 Very Good Product!!
Bought this Grass Seed to help a small area in my backyard that is always in the sun. Also, I bought the Edge Guard Mimi for the same project, since the guard was what I needed for this certain area. As far as the grass seed is concerned it works great. The area is very green and thick good to walk on barefoot. Still have a few places to re-seed, but all in all compared to bare this grass has developed just as Scott's says.

Short and sweet: Directions followed to the letter. 7 Weeks later and ground is still bare...except for a few seeds sitting partially exposed. Another worthless product from Scotts!

I'm a big fan of this grass seed as it grows well and stays very green during hot and dry summers with a little bit of water. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to get a nice green lawn your neighbors will be jealous of!!!

I purchased and used this heat tolerant grass seed in new England in the heat of July -- 5 weeks later i am still watering it on dry days and have no seedlings whatsoever!
I use Scott's sun and shade seed and always get a decent amount of grass. Did I miss something? Good luck if you do try it.
