Answer:
No magic words, Jerry. It takes a thin application (about 1/16" to 1/8") temperatures between 60-80 degrees and consistent watering. We'll be glad to discuss your application, use the following link to contact us directly. http://tinyurl.com/7ag7a3n

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 621 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work Bought 80# worth to fix patches in lawn that were killed by Bayer Weed Killer (weeds are growing again so assuming the poison is gone throughout the areas - also this "Weed only" killer is supposed to be safe for grass but killed EVERYTHING). NOTHING grew (note: the grass in the center of the photo is some of our old grass). Planted Labor Day weekend (supposedly "prime time" to plant new grass seed). Still no results beginning of December (we had a warm fall). December 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product did not work I purchased the 40lb. bag of this product to use on my lawn that was damaged due to the harsh winter weather. The ground was prepped per the video (all dead grass removed, top few inches of soil turned, etc.). We used a spreader to seed our lawn and promptly watered after seeding. The area was watered daily (the area is in direct sun and dries out quickly) and after 3 weeks of care, we still do not have any seedlings showing. I am very disappointed in this product as it boasts a guarantee to grow anywhere and it did not as advertised. May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for me I hade a number of bare patches in my yard and I could not get any growth in these areas. I poured the Ez seed over these areas, raked it even, added water twice and a couple weeks later it was growing and now looks real nice. I sprinkled some extra seed down as well which helped add to the thickness of the new grass. A little pricy but I will buy more. October 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is truly wonderful I have tried many different products nothing worked. Trying something different picked up a bottle just because it said "grows anywhere" I was never so happy to see the great ending results. My grandchildren finally have grass in the back yard which was once very sandy and the previous owners covered the ground with a weed protector all over the yard what a mess. Buy it, Buy it, Buy it well worth the cost and grows quickly. I am in the sand hills of NC and now have a beautiful yard full of grass and less biting ants. May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Full of promises, short on delivery I followed the directions, watered when necessary and yet after 3 weeks maybe 4, just a few baby grass sprouted. What a disappointment. Imagine a hair product that promises a full head of hair, and instead not even enough for a side comb. May 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thanks Scotts Thanks Scotts. This product worked too well, and the spot that I used it in is now thicker than the grass surrounding it. May 13, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed results: Fast, thick growth but PLENTY of weeds I used it at separate times on two large patches of lawn that have been bare for 2 seasons. I loosened the top soil and applied the seeds, adding water every few days. THE GOOD: Both times, the 8th day was magical: in the morning I could see tiny bits of grass sprouting which really multiplied dramatically that day, by evening there was grass growing everywhere. It took about 3 weeks for it to become really thick. THE BAD: This grass grows much faster than any I've seen before, so now 1/3 of my lawn has to be mowed at least twice as often as the rest. What really bothers me is that there are an awful lot of weeds, many of types that I've never seen before. I am disappointed. June 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No grass grew, at all! We wanted to try this product on, probably an 8' by 2' patch of our yard to regrow the grass, and we used the entire container and not one blade of grass grew. We watered and tilled the dirt and it still grew nothing. May 17, 2016
