I decided to paint the door after a year. It gets morning sun and warped to the point it won't close anymore. Don't know if it was the paint or not or it just warped over time.

I can't tell for certain if this screen door is the metal (or tin?) model. If it is, please, don't buy it! There was a wood model that was of reasonable quality, however, this metal door is the cheapest, self-destructing screen door ever to make the Home Depot sales floor. Within 2 weeks, the spline came loose, touching the door is the same as denting it, and when the screen came loose, it was nice to see both the spline and the screen material dance around in the wind. The handle lasted to the 3rd week before a passing backpack caught it and it was found on the ground. Cheap door is an understatement. I returned it and bought a security door for about the same price!

I purchased this screen door and installed with a barn door kit to replace a retracting screen that never worked as promised. I can now leave my deck door open and enjoy the cool evening breezes!

The first time I ordered this door, it arrived with the screen separated from the frame in several places. So I returned it and reordered, and the second door was in similar condition. Hard to tell whether it was manufacturing defects or shipping damage. Either way, a huge disappointment because it was exactly the design I wanted.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bn3wton Not suitable for sunny location
I installed three of these after adding door hardware, painting, and re-screening. Two of the three get a few hours of late afternoon sun and both warped badly within a few months. The third seems ok after a year.
The warped doors are now useless and need to be replaced. The top and bottom corners are warped away from the door frame by at least 3 inches now though they fit well at first.
Do not install in a location where sun will hit the door.

These screens were to replace old wooden ones that formed a little screen porch. I love the look of the 5-bars as it gives the appearance of a traditional porch. They were easy to install and I trust they will hold up over time.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by screengirl624 I love the look of this door but it needs a third hinge and only comes with 2.
I love the look of this door. It is not as rigid as it was in the package. I had to pay for a third hinge and it definitely needs it. I was not happy with the customer service from Screentight. I hope this door holds up.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Slynch Good fit, good construction
The door seems to be of good quality and fits well. Since it is solid vinyl, trimming would be easy if it were needed.
