On the summit door, is the wood on both sides of the screen, or is it a wood frame with the screen applied to the back.

Other model doors I saw in the store had the inner cross-pieces only on one side of the screen. There were no summits to actually see.

Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor quality One piece of the frame was cracked upon arrival, and appeared to have been made that way. The spline groove was not straight -- looked like someone freehanded the groove with a router. The joints were poorly made -- the whole door didn't look like it would last a year. Returned it immediately upon opening the package. No problems with Home Depot return desk. August 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality This door seems great in the pictures but the quality is very poor. The wood was splitting around the joints and the screen is screwed into the back making it hard to change when it tears. Also the screen has no trim on the back where it is screwed in so it looks unfinished. It's low cost but low quality as well. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best screen door on the market Replacing screen doors on an older home I found it difficult to find door that were anything close to the quality of the original doors. This door is far superior to others available today. September 29, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very poor quality I received 2 screen doors for a customer that were of the qaulity of $20.00 doors. Wood styles had rip marks from routering. Rails had places were the sap was coming out of the knots. Not stainable grade and not even paintable!!!!!!!!!The Pro desk, Brian, reordered from local builder home depot deals with and they were less expensive and top notch qaulity!!!! Thanks to Brian at the pro desk!!!!!! June 13, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very low quality, paint grade at best Do not expect a nice door. Door is very low quality, with 16 "finger joints" on the frame, sap holes, ruff carpentry, punched through screw holes, and way too expensive. I can get a piece of junk at any low quality local local store. August 31, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cheap made poor quality doors and hardware These are expensive poor quality doors. Where do I begin? I paid over 250.00 for Hampton door and so called brass hard and plexy weather panel. The hardware is brass plated. It will not weather beautifully like brass. (I will order the real brass hardware elsewhere). The weather panel doesnt even fit the door. There are no turns to remove and put back on panel. You have to drill your own pilot holes and screw the frame onto the door and try to slide the plexiglass in the top!!!!! Each time!!!! Same for the screen if needs repaired, no turns just screws into the wood!!! The inset panel at the bottom is so, so, so thin!!! Nothing like the picture. Wood break easily if a foot hit it. There's got to be a better door out there!! September 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by door doesn't look like picture Well, the picture shows the bottom wood bar thicker than the top, which I wanted so I could trim the bottom to fit our door which is an inch shorter. now its going to look off balanced after its cut. Change the picture, or change the door. March 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy this door! poor quality, not square, warped, cracked, shipped direct damaged packaging. October 21, 2014
