Was apprehensive to buy "plastic" door. We replaced screening with "dog" screen before we started this was personal- the original screening on door was fine. Slight hassle to find the perfect hardware and we built a PVC type frame for screen door because we had just replaced the exterior door. The best advice I can give is that I would have spent less on the exterior door we customed ordered at Home Depot because the inexpensive screen door steals the show. Overall pleased with the look and product.

My husband had to install this and luckily his skill level is above average because it wasn't easy. If I was alone, I would have had to pay someone to install it since I am not mechanically inclined. However, it looks beautiful now that it's up and now that we're older, I wanted something that would be easier to maintain. He won't have to sand and paint or repair it like he did when it was wood.

Considering the price of the door and all the things missing, (hinges, closures, frame, etc.) makes the door expensive for what it is, not a good value

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Catlady50 I cannot recommend a vinyl door.
I wanted an old-fashioned door but could not afford a wood one so I went with the Georgetown vinyl door instead. The door is very pretty but the one I received was warped and could not be used. I'm sending it back and plan to order a wood door with less character.
