We wanted the appearance of an old farmhouse screen door and this really hits it. I needed to trim mine for width, but it was easy with just a circular saw. Remember that no hardware comes with it, so you need hinges and knob separately. My only negative is that it comes in just a single thickness paper box and one of the small spindles was broken out. I was able to glue it back, but more serious damage could easily have occurred. We love the door and get comments on it all the time.

I love the door but the screen came in with a 2" cut in it which I had to have repaired.

Very satisfied. Looks exactly like it did in the picture. Had to cut off half of an inch from one side but after that it fit perfectly.

Beautiful, solidly constructed Victorian-style screen door. No screen issues, either; all sides and corners are securely tucked in. Skeptical about the vinyl material, I am pleasantly surprised to discover I actually prefer it over wood. The drilling for hardware placement is super-easy, and installation is easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy. Just measure and remeasure your space, and do purchase the hardware kit and pneumatic closure mechanism. Watch the video on installation at the Screen Tight website; it helps! A+ product.

I would recommend this product only due to the fact that it is relatively in expensive. One of the stays was warped which prevented the door from fitting flush in the frame, there was a 2" rip in the screen when it arrived that was not caused by shipping. Also by the rip the screen had not been trimmed for about 2 feet. I believe the screen was torn during installation so they never finished the installation and also didn't fix it. I could have returned the screen door and waited two more weeks for a new one but I chose to ignore the warped corner and have the screen repaired at a cost of $50.00 plus two trips to the repair shop to take it and pick it up. After much haggling, Home Depot gave me a $30.00 credit (20%). This took managers approval to go over 10%. I feel I should have been reimbursed the cost and Home Depot could deal with the supplier that sent out something like this. On a positive not, the door is gorgeous and once installed we love it. I highly recommend getting the spring loaded hinge kit Home depot offers with the doors, it is a great value.

I was really pleased when we received our beautifull screen door. Installation was a little challenging perhaps due to our entry home frame not being equal measurements to fit the door precisely. So we had to trim the bottom side door to fit. Another concern, once door was installed I noticed that about 1 inch of screen was glued to the frame of door , due to not being inserted tightly to its own frame. I hope this doesn't cause a problem in the future. But since it was already installed I didn't want to return it. But the elegant appearance made up for it!
