CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 1.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lacking in workmanship Unfortunately, they changed the design of this door. The original had two handy removable screen panels which could be easily repaired. The new design is one large screen insert which is awkward to remove and would be very hard to re-screen. Also, the screening is exposed over the wood center members of the door, not very practical. The wood workmanship is sub-par on this door. September 1, 2011
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality door I'm a big fan of Home Depot and don't blame them for this experience, however they do need to find alternative wood screen door manufacturers for their customers. Both doors I ordered from HD.com had numerous defects and overall poor quality...screen, joints, materials. Just a very cheaply made product. October 24, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Better Options I was hoping that made in USA and paying more money for the door would give me the quality I was looking for to last. Not to be. September 22, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Screen door not so good Screen door matched our other door but the wood had some dents in it as well as some little shreds of wood that you could catch your clothing or other things on.... Not what we would have expected but we were leaving that house and didn't have the time to reorder. Disappointed in the quality August 12, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy this door! poor quality, not square, warped, cracked, shipped direct damaged packaging. October 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by cheap made poor quality doors and hardware These are expensive poor quality doors. Where do I begin? I paid over 250.00 for Hampton door and so called brass hard and plexy weather panel. The hardware is brass plated. It will not weather beautifully like brass. (I will order the real brass hardware elsewhere). The weather panel doesnt even fit the door. There are no turns to remove and put back on panel. You have to drill your own pilot holes and screw the frame onto the door and try to slide the plexiglass in the top!!!!! Each time!!!! Same for the screen if needs repaired, no turns just screws into the wood!!! The inset panel at the bottom is so, so, so thin!!! Nothing like the picture. Wood break easily if a foot hit it. There's got to be a better door out there!! September 9, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by door doesn't look like picture Well, the picture shows the bottom wood bar thicker than the top, which I wanted so I could trim the bottom to fit our door which is an inch shorter. now its going to look off balanced after its cut. Change the picture, or change the door. March 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best screen door on the market Replacing screen doors on an older home I found it difficult to find door that were anything close to the quality of the original doors. This door is far superior to others available today. September 29, 2015
