I purchased this screen door for our back door. The door looks nice and seems to be sturdy, However the screen is pretty loose and the pet door's magnet is too low so the pet door does not seem to stay in one place the other thing which is my fault for not even thinking about is the door is pretty much all screen so when the kids go to push it open they are pushing on the screen which makes the screen even more loose. But it looks great and is easy to keep clean.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kaden 30 In Southport Vinyl Screen Door Large Pet
The door really worked out well. I had an initial scare after first opening the package. The "large" dog door looked small. I was also disappointed at the whiteness of the vinyl door. Being naive I thought it would come with the screen kit and it did not. Directions were minimal. Once we bought the screen door kit, got the door hung, and found that my dog really did fit through the opening, I liked it a lot better. I do recommend it, but advise that you know exactly what you are getting before you order it. The screen itself is tight and very good.

We added aluminum pet screens to the exterior of the screen to keep our cats from trying to hang there and ripping the fabric. We also put an aluminum bar across the pet door about halfway down to keep our large dogs from trying to push thru it. The plastic pet door panel is too big for cat-only access and too small for a medium sized (above 40 lbs.) dog. Great door if you're handy with modifying things to fit your specific pet situation. PVC is easlily cut to trim to your specific dimensions, but could be made of a harder formula to better secure screws to. Overall, not a bad door for the price, and will last much longer than the old fashioned wood door frames. If I had to purchase again, I'd go with the one without the pet door and just add my own aftermarket hard plastic ridgid panel swing door of the size we needed.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RobB Door is great but was missing hardware
It was not clear when we ordered the door online that it did not come with hardware. We had wanted to take advantage of a promotional offer but were unable to include the hardware as a result. Installation was difficult and was also delayed as a result.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LisinTexas Perfect product for the application
We have gone through many $20 screen doors before buying this one. We did not want a storm door but simply a screen door, however our dogs took the liberty of making it into a doggie door usually on the first day. Well once the screen was loose and 'blowing in the wind' seemed pointless with the flies getting in :) This door gives us the best of both worlds and was the PERFECT solution. Easy to install, looks great and we really didn't notice that the bottom 1/4 was 'solid'. Still a nice breeze flows through. If you need a doggie door but don't want to cut into your sheetrock and external siding for a permanent one in order to have a screen door - This is a smart solution. Well worth every penny!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sam2200 I installed this door, alone. My pets learned within minutes to navigate both the screen and exterior doors.
Pets must come and go as needed. This lovely screen door went up in minutes. It is classic charm, complete with 'the slam', thanks to the included hardware.
Simple, lightweight, functional, classic.
No high tech here, just good old home time charm...

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Looks great, functional, but poorly constructed
Special ordered this product. Worked great for a while on porch with dogs. Door only lasted about 1.5 years before it started coming apart at the joints. Fell completely apart after 2nd year and had to throw away.

Overall the door looked good but after being installed by a professional there was a gap on the upper portion of the door where daylight could be seen and also the plastic flap for the dog was not hung straight. Therefore there was a gap on one side of the flap thus the potential of bugs getting into the house. We returned the item and bought a better pet storm door.
