Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Challenging install due to bracket design The lighting looks fantastic, but the pins that connect to the track should be spring loaded, they should not spring load the entire bracket. This change would make installation much easier. Let me list the issues that I had with it: 1/ The screws in a couple of the brackets that have the pins that connect the circuit to the track had fallen out. This was very fiddly to get the screws back in, because there is a spring behind the bracket to push the pins onto the track. 2/ Because of the bracket design, it is difficult to get both pins touching the track. I ended up tightening up the screw, then testing the light, which wouldn't go on due to an open circuit, cut power, loosen the screw a quarter turn, re-attach to the rail, put the power back on, test the light, which wouldn't go on due to an open circuit and repeat over and over again until it finally stayed on! It was time consuming. 3/ You have to use a lot of force to close the clamps enough to get the end caps to screw on correctly. This scratches the track, so make sure you know exactly where you want the track, mounts and lights before putting it up. 4/ The instructions were ridiculous. There were multiple diagrams (which is good) but they reused the same letters on different diagrams. So when it says connect part A to part B, you don't know if they are referencing diagram 1, 2 or 3.... Anyway, I figured it out, got it installed and it works, but it was about a day of troubleshooting and it shouldn't have taken anywhere near that long. This light is NOT for someone without experience, and not for someone to try to install if you don't have a multi-meter (at least) to figure out where the problems are. April 13, 2015
