I purchased this product because it is Canadian made and I thought I could trust its quality.
But I am extremely disappointed.
I live in 580sqft apartment and I am using it in living room. (approximately 300sqft)
On its strongest power, I cannot feel slightest warmth unless I am sitting directly in front of it and within 5ft from this heater.
It claims it can warm an average size room 14F in 30 min but I left mine running for 4 hrs in max setting and I donât feel any warmth. (and no, windows and doors were kept closed)
So-called âThermaFloâ is nothing but a reduction in fan speed as you turn the heat down.
Trust me, it runs like $30 Sunbeam or other generic heater product except it is louder.
And it is by far the ugliest heater Iâve purchased yet.
I feel offended that this product is $89.99.
'You get what you paid for?' not with this product.
I think $30 hair-dryer could do a better job than this.
This is my first time I've ever wrote a review about any product.. oh yes, I've returned other products before.. but I've never been this upset about buying a junk like this.
I am returning this product tomorrow.
Thank god I kept my receipt.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by derk Awesome heater
I have been very happy with this heater. I put it in my garage. It keeps a single car garage above freezing temperatures during the harsh manitoba winters. A+++

Rated 4 out of 5Â by heatseeker Recently I had lost my heat source (propane stove) in my craft room and needed a new heat source. Instead of purchasing immediately I decided to borrow one from a friend.
I was lent the Smart ThermaFlo 1500 and I love it. I don't want to return it. I love that I can just set it at my desired heat level and not have to adjust it constantly. My room, which is detached from the home's main source of heat was
always comfortable - and it took up less space than my propane stove - cost less to operate too. I did however find that the fan was not so quiet - maybe because it was priorly used. Over all I liked this heater.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by CNYMark GOOD 'space' HTR - small room
Many of the reviewers on HD are unrealistic in their reviews of small htrs. I purchased this Seabreeze SMART Therma Flo model to heat a small bedroom (12 x12) over an unheated garage space. I have a MAIN FURNACE , a Lennox which is very efficient, but would not keep this (difficult) space heated without jacking up the main thermostat and, thus losing efficiency. THIS UNIT WORKS GREAT IN A ZONE HEATING APPLICATION such as described. NO heater will heat a large , open area and still be able to be called a 'space heater'. This heater is very SAFE and puts out alot of 'feel -able' warmth. I t has a thermostat and moving louvres which move the air around. For the money/ size this Canadian made htr is perfect for small bedrooms.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Shirley Excellent Heater, Runs at Low Cost
I live in Tulsa, OK in a 750 sq ft apartment built 55 years ago. The central system ducts are cruddy so I avoid using the HVAC as much as possible. The apartment is well insulated and a ground floor unit so it does not require a lot of output to keep the unit at 74 degrees. I have one heater in the living room near the front door and another in my bedroom. Running these on a low-medium setting keeps the entire apartment comfortable and my average monthly bill at $65. These truly are safe for use since my tabby cat leans against it to warm herself up. Do not hesitate to buy this brand. My heaters are starting their fourth winter and both are going strong.
