The Description Says 11,000 CFM. I Think Its More Like 500 CFM. So, For $90, Its Really Not Worth It. I Will Be Returning It.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HardwareGuy Blows really COOL air, but it's not particularly strong.
The air it blows is so cool that it almost feels like air coming out of an air conditioner (and this model is very energy efficient, which is a big plus). But the one downside is that it is not very strong for my needs. Perhaps for someone with ordinary household needs, this would be perfect.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sis Useless, does not last.
I purchased this cooling fan about 8 weeks ago. Two weeks ago it just gave out, stopped working. I bought it online, but couldn't find the receipt. When I took it back for a refund, they denied it. There was no receipt or history in my file to say I bought this fan. BTW, this is the second same fan I have purchased from Home Depot. That also would not work. I threw that one out, as it had been months I had it. Be aware. Stay away from this fan. It's no good!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JamesD1 Great Product
Just bought this fan and I am very impressed with the performance --- powerful air delivery, quiet operation and energy efficient. The fan came fully assembled and was put into use within minutes. We pointed the fan vertically (towards the ceiling) as described in the instructions and the air on the whole main floor of our house seemed to become active.
The strong air flow will be greatly appreciated once we have to endure the summer heat, and we expect it will significantly reduce our AC costs.
This great product is actually manufactured in Canada, so we are very pleased to buy North American

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Trecius Could have been great
The fan did what it said it would as far as mooving air. It didn't sound like a cyclone, and used low power. The problem is my first one the handle broke this is because instead of using noremal means to attack the two frame pices they just melted the plastic. the second one had bad berrings in it and made a horrible noise. The third one the front wire guard was broken in one place the rear one was broken in 3 places, and the from where the handle attacked was also broken. If they could send me one that wasn't ruined before I got It then I might have loved the fan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by whafrog A rare product
This is one of those rare products that seems mundane, but makes you loyal to the point of registering on home depot just to write a review :) I don't have airco in my 1300sqft house, so I use fans to pump warm air out the top floor and bring cooler air in the bottom. This is the quietest fan I own, and pumps far more air than any of the others. On max setting you can easily have a conversation right next to it, it's not really noticeable. I have a similar fan from a competing manufacturer that pretty much screams...you have to raise your voice if you want to talk in the same room, but it doesn't put out even half the airflow.
It's lasted 6 years even though I've abused it and left it outside each winter. It still works fine, but the bearings are going and it's slow to start, so I need another one.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DanR Great while it works but does not last
A nice quiet fan that moves quite a bit of air. Much of the air it moves comes from the venturi effect where the air coming out of the front of the fan picks up more air as it moves along for a good 10-20 feet. Great for moving air from one room to another (say from a room with a window ac to another or from a room on the shady side of the house to one on the sunny side) but not so great in a window.
The real problem though is it just does not last. Mine lasted just about 3 years until the bearings on the motor failed. First it started "grumbling" and slowing down and then it just stopped. I only used it for a few hours a day for a few months per year. Say 4 hours a day for about 80 days a year so it lasted a bit less than 1000 hours of run time. I've had other cheaper fans last much longer.
