Product Overview

Seal-Krete Concrete Colors is a ready-to-use, semi-transparent stain that transforms bare concrete into a decorative living space. It highlights the variations in surface texture and porosity to create a custom, multi-toned effect similar to that found in natural stone. Different effects can be achieved by combining colors or using faux finish application techniques. This urethane-fortified, acrylic formula is non-toxic, non-hazardous, and environmentally safe. It's also UV-resistant, flexible and hard-wearing, making it ideal for surfaces like patios, driveways, garage floors, pool decks, entryways and even basements.

Answer:
Dear ThomasC,
This product is a stain that is designed to penetrate into a porous substrate. There is not enough film build to make a pool deck slippery unless it is already smooth which would be very uncommon. Should this become a concern you could add a non-skid additive to a clear protective coat or to the second coat of stain.
Thank you for your inquiry!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It looks better than I thought! I was looking for a way to make my basement floor look better than a regular flat paint. I did my research and decided to go with concrete stain. I applied two coats to my basement floor (approximately 500 square feet) and it looks better than a flat paint. I was able to do 2 coats with less than one gallon and I wasn't trying to stretch it. Absolutely love the way it looks. It looks like an expensive slab on granite! December 17, 2013
