The gloss is very subtle. It’s more visible after a rain. All in all, I am very pleased with this product.

You probably will not see a difference. I have used this product and I would recommend only use if your patio is covered or you get very little rain and snow. The elements will eventually wear it out.

can I/should I use this after painting my concrete floors with latex porch paint?)

I painted my concrete floor (in bedroom) with Valspar Latex porch & floor paint. It says it is resistant to scratching but I would like added protection since I have a dog. Would your SATIN CLEAR SEAL CONCRETE PROTECTIVE SEALER be a good product for this? I noticed most people had a good experience with it but one person mentioned clear coat turning yellow. I have spent quite a lot of time doing design on floor and do not want to risk ruining it so I wanted to ask first.

Answer:
I did it on stain. In first rain it peeled up and discolored stain. Flaked off spots have no gloss so quite noticable. Spot check if you still want to try it.

Answer:
Dear joanne,
Yellowing is a result of paint reaction with sealer due to incompatibility or the paint was not UV stable. Clear-Seal is compatible with your latex paint. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact SEAL-KRETE Technical Services at 800-323-7357.

Answer:
Says it dries clear, it is milky in can. I think it discolored my stain some and has an unnatural glossy look to it so where it peels off is not glossy and even more obvious

Dear Mandy,
Yes, Clear-Seal will look milky if moisture seeps through. Without knowing the details of your project, we cannot offer any further recommendations. However, applying Clear-Seal over the Behr products you used would NOT be recommended. Thank you!

Dear Wolfie14,
Clear-Seal will work on slate as long as it is porous. It should not be used in areas where standing water is left for prolonged periods of time. If you have any additional questions, please contact SEAL-KRETE Technical Services Department at 800-323-7357. Thank you!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a mistake. So I was looking for concrete sealer for over stain, and special ordered this. Had to wait to get it in 2 weeks or so, which it came in within the range they said. Applied it with a roller and let dry. The next day I noticed it had smeared the stain and the sealer was just peeling off. After a few rains it is mostly peeled off now, looked like it had leprosy. I had high hopes for it and can't imagine how they think this works. Now my walkway and steps are ready for Halloween they look so scarey. September 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New store I just purchased a convenient store and the cement floor was a very worn out battleship gray. My husband and I sanded it all down and painted it light blue. We used this product to seal it when we were done and it looks absolutely beautiful!!! It is a very smooth surface and the coverage really exceeded what the product said it would. I'd give it 5 stars but I can't say what it will look like in the future. September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I spent a great deal of time and energy in doing a custom paint job on my laundry room floor. It looks like ceramic tile. I wanted a way to seal it so my hard work wouldn't be damaged. I ordered this product and it looks beautiful and my floor is now more durable. It was so easy to apply. I used 2 coats. I attempted to move things back into the room because it felt like it was dry. Big mistake. I had to recoat a small area. I gave the room the full 72 hours to dry and it's now as hard as a rock. I would highly recommend this product. March 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible results with Clear-Seal I purchased a gallon of this sealer for my front stamped concrete sidewalk in October 2015. I thought it was wonderful! It was reasonably priced, easy to apply, and looked great. I was hoping it would last more than the 3 year life of other concrete sealers I had used. It lasted about 3 months before it began to flake off. My front sidewalk that's in the sun, looks like it has the measles now, (9 months later). The flaking is random throughout the sunny portion of the sidewalk, and keeps getting worse. I'm going to have to work hard to clean up the coating surface and find a better quality product. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sealing precast pool coping I had 50 23x10 inch cement pool coping made for around my pool Sealent went on white then dried clear Easy to brush on Iput two coats on and only used 1/4 of can September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by best we have found!! I think this is what the builder used on our decorative concrete. Used something else the first time we sealed it.....which was terrible, took forever to dry. This product is the best!! August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product The product is easy to use and goes on smoothly. My basement floor looks terrific. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excelent product. This is a great cement sealer. I used it on the cement patio around my pool. This is much easier to apply with a sprayer. A roller and brush will take forever. June 21, 2016
