Answer:
Hi Baddad,
This paint only works on a solid non flexible base, if used on plywood the expansion and contraction of the wood with changes in temperature will cause it to peal off.

SURFACE PREP*:Note:Proper surface prep is critical to product performance. The surface should be clean, dry, sound and free of dirt, dust, oil, wax and grease. You may need an oil stain remover such as SEAL-KRETE® Oil Stain Remover to lift stubborn oil stains.
Bare Concrete:
Concrete must have cured for a minimum of 30 days before application. Etch the surface with SEAL-KRETE Clean-N-Etch to allow for proper penetration and adhesion. Etching is especially important for smooth-troweled concrete surfaces (like carports, garage and basement floors) and is also recommended for rough-finished surfaces. After etching, rinse the surface thoroughly and let dry. For best adhesion results, apply one thin coat of SEAL-KRETE Lock-Down™Concrete Bonding Primer. Thank you for your inquiry. Please call to speak with a Technical Services Representative if needed 800-323-7357.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the job done I installed this almost 6 years ago and it still looks good. Minor tire pickup and a few places where it has very small chips. Overall, for the money, this is exactly what I needed. Still beads water 6 years later. I will likely use this on my next garage floor too. I didn't need or want to make my garage a museum, just nicer and neater than bare concrete. June 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by epoxy paint Just applied. Will see how it holds up. Definitely needs 2nd coat. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very high quality paint It is worth to buy the EPOXY SEAL ARMOR GRAY 921 5-GAL. CONCRETE AND GARAGE FLOOR PAINT very adhesive paint I love it...! December 9, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Applied on new concrete, interior and exterior. This is a great sealer and stays on the concrete inside the garage; however, outside the garage it is a total waste of money. Outside the garage, the paint keeps coming off when I run the blower to blow off leaves. January 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad product Please refrain from buying this. Product comes off the surface with a slight force applied. Zero durability, not water resistant, floor looks spotty 3 days after application. Bought two buckets, $250 out of the window. Hope this helps, Max. November 8, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I expected In all fairness I did not do all of the prep myself, but the floor was etched then cleaned 4 times prior to rolling. We did the moisture check and it looked good, so we rolled the epoxy seal. One layer then 24 hours later another layer. I will be scraping this up and using the other brand I prefer. September 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product!!! Applying was easy and everything worked as written in the instructions. Be sure to prep your floor correctly or all your work is worthless. Our basement floor already had a sealant on it. Instead of using the acid etch product, we opted for the safe route (though highly labor intensive) and rented a diamond floor grinder. Primer, paint, and clear coat went on easy. The floor looks great and the finish appears to be very durable. Great product and would recommend it to anyone. One last thing, call tech support with any questions. I talked to a guy named Bob who was excellent to deal with. September 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Experience Used the Paint in the basement - most of it pealed off within a few hours of drying. I had to scrap the basement concrete floor to remove the the epoxy seal. about 75% of the layer came off easily, since most of the paint turned into flakes after drying. April 28, 2015
