can I use this on a pea gravel outdoor patio to help lock/stabilize the gravel?
Asked by: ad
No. It's about as viscous as water. Most of it would trickle down through the gravel. It's a primer that helps the top coat bond to the concrete, or "locks it down" to the surface. It would not make pebbles or gravel stick together.

What is the best roller to use with this product?
Asked by: Paul
Fluffy one due to pitting. 4" because of the table and bench contours. But I plan to use a common one and 9" with a broom handle on my patio concrete.

The only difficult part is that it goes on clear so you really have to keep track of where you have applied the primer. It starts off a little opaque, but then becomes clear as it dries. There is a little sheen to it so you can see if you have missed a spot with the right lighting.

It also seems to have done a good job for what I particularly wanted -- increasing adhesion over a previously-epoxied layer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great Applying was easy and everything worked as written in the instructions. Be sure to prep your floor correctly or all your work is worthless. Our basement floor already had a sealant on it. Instead of using the acid etch product, we opted for the safe route (though highly labor intensive) and rented a diamond floor grinder. Primer, paint, and clear coat went on easy. The floor looks great and the finish appears to be very durable. Great product and would recommend it to anyone. One last thing, call tech support with any questions. I talked to a guy named Bob who was excellent to deal with.
